Who Stole the Art? | Carnegie Arts Centre | Kenmare Ireland
The Carnegie Arts Centre hosts a monthly art exhibit and this month was no exception. The artists are always talented and well worth checking out. Unfortunately, the art was recently stolen but with the help of a few detectives the culprits were eventually caught.
This is a completely made up true story about how it all most likely would have gone down if it ever happened.

Kenmare Remembers Armistice 100th | Sounds of Silence and A Million Dreams (The Greatest Showman)
Some of the talented kids from Theatre Games put together a contributing performance to help honour the 100th anniversary of the Armistice signed at the end of WWI. They performed their version of the Sounds of Silence (Disturbed version) and A Million Dreams (from The Greatest Showman).
We want to offer a big thanks to Micheal Cavanagh for inviting us to Kenmare Remembers and organizing such a wonderful event that offered music, songs, poetry and more. It was a joy to honour the past with everyone.

Island Arts Centre - Lisburn, NI - Leading Multi-arts Venue
Island Arts Centre - Lisburn, Northern Ireland - Perfect for Art Lovers. There is a great variety of events in this Lisburn community centre - from Magical Movie Moments to Community Arts. Definitely worth checking out if you are in Lisburn.
Lisburn Island Arts Centre is the place dedicated to all those people who appreciate and love any kind of art - not just the kind of art that is about drawings for artists, but it is actually anything that is related to drama, music, dance, visual arts, applied arts, film, new media, and community arts, so it is a place with different events held there which art lovers could definitely head to in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
When it comes to the cultural destinations in Northern Ireland, this place usually comes on the top of the list because of the different artists and musicians who perform every single year to thousands of visitors who come because they appreciate these types of art and would love to see them being performed in front of their own eyes.
This place was mainly created and brought out to the public to appreciate the talents that are found in Northern Ireland, those who might be the best when it comes to theatre, music, or dancing or even any other kind of talent there is.
In addition to those events and live shows which one could experience in the Island Art Centre in Lisburn, there are also the inspiring workshops and galleries for some artists or even the sculpture trail that is found there; these are usually related to original and new art from Northern Ireland and further afield.
The best thing about this place for families is that kids will also get the chance to enjoy such a place because they care about them and have some programmes which they could enjoy and which will be always found to be creative and related much to their imagination - which is one of the things parents are always searching for.
Island Arts Centre in Lisburn has previously won an award winning reputation for innovation and style and this goes back to how the whole place is prepared and how the atmosphere is completed with the technical support and the expert hospitality services. One of the other good things about this place is its location which allows both those outside Lisburn city as well as those inside to visit it since it is located within a walking distance from Lisburn City Centre, beside public and road transport networks.
If you are building a plan in order to visit Island Arts Centre in Lisburn then in addition to the events and the galleries which you will be able to see and attend, you also have to know about other things offered to you through this place - apart from being good for the kids as well - such as the courses which are available there at times and which might be interesting for some people.
When it comes to Lisburn city in Northern Ireland, there are different places which we have visited and different trips which we have been on. One of the trips to this city that is not far away from Belfast was all about walking through its streets ( but our trips did not stop at this point, we have been to Lisburn to go to the Castle Gardens as well ( which we definitely loved and might even consider it one of the most beautiful places in Lisburn, and at some point we passed by Lisburn Cathedral as well, which was a different experience (
In addition to those different destinations which we have been to and managed to visit, there are still some other important locations and touristic attractions in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, which people could visit if they are going to stay there for a longer period of time. Those touristic destinations include a tour in the Hilden Brewery which is considered one of the oldest in Ireland, there is also the Riverside Art which is all about following the art and sculpture trail Xpolarart which highlights the work of local and international artists along the river, and that of course comes in addition to those other destinations which are famous but might be considered part of Belfast by some travelers and part of Lisburn by others.
If you are searching for a different kind of experience and you happen to be a fan of art with all its different types then you should head to Lisburn Island Arts Centre and get the chance to see any of these different types of art which are found in the place - and we have to mention that you will definitely fall in love with the place and the kind of art you will be seeing.
Lisburn is one of the beautiful cities in Northern Ireland which we have been to and visited some places in and which we would recommend for those who would be near and would love to explore new places and new things.
Some of the best locations around Ireland / Northern Ireland and further afield. A travel blog/vlog of the hidden treasures that are on our doorstep.
