For his first solo exhibition in Canada, the French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel is presenting a series of recent works on the theme of storms and the violence of the elements.

Jean-Michel Othoniel: Dark Matters / Perrotin New York
Galerie Perrotin opens its new gallery space at 130 Orchard Street in New York with an exhibition with works by the French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel. Entitled “Dark Matters”, the show presents new works, some specially created for the occasion. Jean-Michel Othoniel is known for his work with glass. His seventh solo show with the gallery is dedicated to storms and the violence of the elements. Othoniel's exhibition features a fountain in a blue grotto, wall and floor pieces of mirrored glass bricks, tornado sculptures made of chrome painted aluminium beads, and suspended glass beads knots, among others. This video provides you with an exhibition walkthrough on the occasion of the opening reception on 3 March 2018.

This documentary explores the world of ever faster growing technological development, in which major changes can happen overnight, and investigates if technological developments that are just around the corner will be able to solve the world’s major problems within the next 20 to 30 years. Will we soon live in a world of abundance?

Airport information: Paris Airports - We have just arrived at Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) Terminal 2F on an Air France Flight from Copenhagen. We now have a flight connection with Air France to Singapore. Follow us as we transfer from Terminal 2F to Terminal 2E where our next flight will be departing from. After a short walk through the Terminals at Charles de Gaulle Airport we arrive at Terminal 2E.
At this point we take you for a tour around Terminal 2E to show you what it is like. Watch out for Food Courts, Duty Free Shops selling Brand Names, Cafe´s, Restaurants, Kiosks, Playstation Game Areas, View of the Apron and even a few planes passing by such as the Emirates Airbus A380. This video end with us boarding our flight. We had a pleasant few hours Transfer at Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 2E waiting for our connection flight.
