Aurora chasing Alberta. Whitecourt, Carson -Pegasus provincial park , march 29th 2017

Early morning March 29th. I couldn't resist checking out the northern lights this morning despite being exhausted from 2 previous nights of watching the lights. First stopped just north of whitecourt , but there was lots of noise and light from a local gas plant. Decided to drive east a ways from there and found a nice spot. Very nice little provincial park there called Carson-pegasus which provided a nice north easterly aspect over a lake. Some kind of little boathouse on the north shore made for a nice scene as the aurora rolled in. Teasing all night with pillars and pulses then finally got some waves after 4 hours of waiting.
