Street Food Tour, Cartagena Colombia
This was probably one of the best things we did in Colombia. We toured the streets with Cartagena Connections. A group of folks who give tours around the colorful streets of Cartagena. Friends back home told us not to eat street food, but do you actually ever adventure if the street food is not eaten?
DELICIOSO!

The Bazurto Market Experience in 4K
Not too far outside the Walled City in Cartagena, Colombia, you may find a compelling opportunity to explore the infamous Bazurto Market. This sprawling, intense maze of vendors can easily overwhelm your senses, and often not in a good way. This is about as raw as it gets when it comes to open-air markets, but hidden within this labyrinthine of produce carts, seafood stalls and makeshift tables adorned with splayed out farm animals - is the essence of a Colombian tradition which has remained immune to any form of gentrification.
As we made our way through the squalid corridors, I couldn't help but find myself feeling enthralled with the grittiness of my surroundings. You are never more alive than when all of your senses are being assaulted by sights, sounds, and smells you simply can't define.
If you're considering a venture into the Bazurto Market, I highly recommend you get in touch with Cartagena Connections:
While the market is generally safe (if you're street smart), going with a guide who truly knows their way around will enable you to enjoy the experience and make the most of your time. It would also circumvent you getting lost...or robbed.
Touring the Bazurto Market is not an experience you should pursue if you are squeamish, claustrophobic, incapable of walking long distances in extreme heat, or easily overwhelmed by large crowds.

Cartagena, Colombia (Part 2) Getsemani
Once a district characterized by crime, Getsemani, just south of the ancient walled fortress, has become Cartagena's hippest neighborhood and one of Latin America's newest hotspots, with plazas that were once the scene of drug dealing being reclaimed and old buildings being turned into boutique hotels.

Colombian Women Invite ALL FOREIGN Men to Cartagena
Colombian women draw the attention of foreign men from around the globe. Foreign men have set their sights on cities like Cartagena for leisurely solo trips and dating opportunities with the stunning women of Colombia.
Cartagena plays a significant role in Colombia’s economic and industrial breakthrough. Aside from being a major part of the country, it has been known worldwide due to its thriving tourism. It may not be as competitive as its neighboring cities like Bogota, Cali and Medellin, but this vibrant city takes pride in its amazing beaches and tempting recreational activities.
One of these activities, where hundreds of western men travel the world for, are international dating events. Social events such as these are aimed at helping men date and possibly marry Colombian women.
Although you can easily meet women online, interacting with them in person will still give you better chances of expressing yourself and establishing a meaningful connection.
Whether you’re interested in dating or marrying a Colombian woman, take note that you’ll have to personally get to know her first. Consequently, this tour would be a great opportunity for you to meet a Latin woman who possibly has the qualities you’re looking for in an ideal partner.

Cartagena, Colombia: Round the World in 60 Seconds
Here are the sights and the vibes present in the most visited city in Colombia: Cartagena. It's a city on the northern coast of the country with waves coming in from the Caribbean Sea.
Cartgena was founded by the Spanish in 1533. A main part of the city called Ciudad Amurallada is within an old walled Spanish fortress that is in remarkably good shape. Many beautiful hotels, restaurants, and shops are now located within these old walls that border the Caribbean Sea.
Besides the part of the city on mainland Colombia, Cartagena is also comprised of lots of islands near the coast. Some are more touristy than others, but many have the beautiful white sand beaches with clear blue water as is frequent in the Caribbean. Which is a perfect getaway from the heat and humidity surrounding the inner city.
Cartagena has a lot of history, and was one of the first sanctuaries of freed African slaves in the Americas. It is a very diverse place with lots of culture that is evident in the people, the buildings, and the food.
The city can be a bit chaotic at times, especially the traffic. Crossing the street, even at a cross walk, is like a real life game of Frogger. And if you decide to get around on the local buses like we do, you'll notice that there are no actual bus stops. You get on and off the bus whenever and wherever you want. It takes some getting used to, but it's a very efficient system for the bus goers (and a very cheap mode of transportation), and therefore, worth a shot.
All in all, Cartagena was an amazing bustling city with beautiful beaches, fantastic food, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Colombia.

Top 2 Sights in Cartagena Colombia
Tourism in Cartagena Colombia is at an all time high, whether you go for the nightlife, the salsa dancing, (the women?), or the beaches, you'll definitely have things to do. Cartagena has beautiful weather and safety is not an issue at all, so feel free to relax and enjoy what the city has to offer. If you don't have 6 weeks in Cartagena, you can still see it in a short amount of time.
We booked a 2-day trip, so we spent one day in the walled city of Cartagena, and the second day was in the jungle (check our other video on the channel). We found that you could run to most sights in the city - don't worry about running in a foreign country, it's totally safe! You'll definitely want to hit the top 2 sights, which is the walled city (spend an entire day here) and the Fort San Felipe (see this in 1-3 hours). After you've seen those two, there are a myriad of other things to do, but why not just hang out on the beach?
