Carters Beach, Port Mouton, Nova Scotia
Carter's Beach, Nova Scotia
Carters Beach NS is the most beautiful beach in Nova Scotia. It is essentially three beaches in one, with three crescent areas one after another. All three are made up of soft white sand. It's like the carribeans in our corner of the world. The kids love walking the beach in search of sand dollars as much as they enjoy playing in the water. Water is cooler than normal Atlantic beaches. Best by mid-August. But it's a beautiful beach for kayaking. The parking area for this beach is not large so it can appear crowded even when the beaches are not.
There are no change areas or washrooms at Carter's Beach.

Carter's Beach - Nova Scotia's Caribbean Getaway:)
While on our Summer's roadtrip around the coast of Nova Scotia the girls and I stumbled upon a hidden gem, perhaps simply the most beautiful beach in all of Nova Scotia. Made up of soft white sand and crystal clear water Carter's Beach, Port Mouton in Queens County is a place you should visit for sure. Sand dollars by the buckets are waiting for you:)

Me and my friends Brad and Sam took a relatively spontaneous trip to the South Shore of Nova Scotia, but first we made a stop at one of my favourite places to eat in Nova Scotia - Edible Matter's, in Hammonds Plains. That spot is incredible.
Then we headed towards Kejimikujik Seaside Adjunct, and made a stop at the beautiful Carter's Beach on the way!
Managed to snag a few cool drone shots at random pit stops on the way!
Thanks to Ford for hooking me up with the 2016 Edge to go exploring!

Quiet scene in Port Mouton bay, Nova Scotia
Looking out at Port Mouton Bay from the lower deck of The Four Ladies Cottage. You can hear the birds, and the ocean - as the waves hit the beach - just beyond the small bushes. A sure-fired way to reduce stress!

Here's to making great memories, cheers!
Carters Beach, Nova Scotia
This is one of the prettiest beaches I’ve been to in Nova Scotia. The sand is white and soft under your feet and the water (typical for all seasons in Nova Scotia) is cold. ???????? #cartersbeach #novascotiabeaches #canadianbeaches #eastcoastlifestyle
