Class 67 locomotives along the sea wall at Dawlish, Devon
This video shows 2 class 67 locomotives (67017 and 67029) on a 'top 'n' tail' working, travelling along the famous sea wall stretch of Brunel's Great Western Railway at Dawlish, South Devon.
This is a montage of 5 clips, taken over 3 days, in August 2010, hence why there is a sudden change in the level of cloud cover!
Clips 1&2 are taken from Lea Mount, looking across the bay towards Langstone Rock, and shows the outbound service as it approaches Dawlish.
Clip 3, which was the first clip shot, is taken from the end of Marine Parade, just before the entrance to Kennaway tunnel.
Clip 4 show the return journey as it departs Dawlish, heading eastbound, taken from the car park at Dawlish station.
Clip 5 is taken from Langstone Rock, and shows the eastbound service as it rounds the corner heading towards Dawlish Warren.
