Castle Hill is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia located 30.1 kilometres north-west of the Sydney GPO,[2] in the Hills District. Castle Hill is the administrative centre of the local government area of the Hills Shire and part of the suburb is located in the local government area of Hornsby Shire.

Castle on the Hill at Mt Warning, Uki. NSW Australia

The castle was built by artists Prof Robert Pope, Robert Todonai and Irene Brown.
It was built as an expression of the Renaissance, featuring art, science, castle architecture and philosophy.
The Castle is poised on top of a hill with views of the rolling hill of the Caldera, the volcanic crater of the sacred site Wollumbin ( Mt Warning).
Massive wooden Australian River Red Gum flitches and slabs together with rocks from the local quarry at Uki were used to construct the Castle. Salvaged wood from Uki and Chillingham bridges plus the old Custom house in Brisbane were also part of the structure.
The huge feature windows were made with squash court glass.
Extensive gardens surround the Castle, guarded by Dragon sculptures and Gargoyles.
