Quin Abbey - Quin - County Clare - Ireland

No1 Orchard Wood, Dromoland Castle Estate, Co Clare
Set on the woodland grounds of the 5 star Dromoland Golf and Country Club, amongst the mature trees and enjoying panoramic views of Dromoland Castle, lakes, woodlands and golf course, is No. 1 Orchard Woods. On entering the pillared avenue of Dromoland, a discrete gated stone piered entrance leads into the meandering access road to the exclusive and small cul de sac of Orchard Wood, a development of just 15 homes. The first of the scheme to be built and (arguably) boasting the best site, No. 1 has been extended in recent years by its current owners, with a stunning reception room to the rear that opens onto the tree lined site and patio. The home offers a very simple but practical layout, the entrance porch leads to a vast open plan family and dining room with feature open fireplace and also incorporates the home office. All accommodation filters off the main reception with separate doors to the kitchen, utility, both en-suite double bedrooms and double French Doors to the rear vaulted ceiling room extension. The homes decor is tastefully done to coincide with the Castle and woodland surrounds with some wonderful finishes such as 12 foot ceilings, traditional cornicing, open hearth feature fireplace and heritage bathware to the en-suites. Outside, the main drive leads to the main garage with separate footpath leading to the various patios, split level gardens and onto Dromoland Castle. This rare gem is a must view and is strictly by prior appointment with sole selling agents. PSL 002295
