Roller Coaster / Grotpeter Trail - Castlewood Park - St. Louis, MO
Hola! Welcome to El Snido's Toy Company!
This video is from two trails in Castlewood Park in St. Louis, MO.
They are Roller Coaster and Grotpeter. Most bikers in St. Louis cut their teeth at Castlewood so it seemed appropriate for an initial video.
There is a musical background due to sound issues with the GoPro 5 with a gimble. I've got a workaround I'm trying out for later videos to help alleviate the problem.
I've kind of set a bucket list for myself to ride in all of the lower 48 states. Of course if anyone has free tickets to the other two I wouldn't say no. :-) Part of the reason for this channel is to bring my friends, family and anyone else along for the ride. When I started riding about 20 years ago, I had no idea what a trail would be like other than a map at the trailhead. Hopefully some of these videos will be helpful if someone in that position who is traveling to a town I've visited and interested in riding there. My upcoming videos from the past season will include some of Las Vegas, NV, Fruita, CO, Bentonville, AR, Dallas, TX. This year we will visit trails in Louisville, several states in the Northeast and maybe a trip through the New Mexico or Arizona.

A Quick Visit to Cliff Cave Park St. Louis MO USA September 2016
This is a short compilation of photos and video I took during a quick visit I made to Cliff Cave Park in September 2016. Cliff Cave Park is a St. Louis County park in St. Louis Missouri, USA.
This park is very close to our house and one of my favorite parks. This park is a favorite because its so diverse it has a cave, and a spring that comes out of the cave which you will see a little of that in this video.
It has 3 trails and many great views of the Mississippi river. I parked down by the River View Shelter and walked over to the bluff and cave. I went to the beginning of the Spring Valley Trail and the entrance of the cave. You will get to see a little bit of the Spring Valley Trail which is a 3 mile dirt trail with and inner and outer loop which takes you by the cave and above the cave entrance. It has a very hilly and rocky start but once you're on top of the hill its fairly flat and easy to navigate. I have rode these with a mountain bike as well as hiked. Also there are some photos of the Mississippi River Trail is a 5 mile paved flat trail with two loops. I've rode my road bike on this trail many times. I did not get to go on the Bluff trail so that will be in a future video.

PART 1/2: This is live video footage of the autumn sunset at Creve Coeur Park in Maryland Heights, MO, USA taken on October 26, 2012. This first footage (PART 1/2) is my first take of taking video footage of the sunset and is short in length at 1:34 minutes. My second take, second footage is much better and is much longer than this one, being 10:00 minutes in length and shows footage of the sun setting for the night, during this 10:00 minute time period. Please check out my second footage of this sunset (listed on YouTube as Sunset at Creve Coeur Park in Maryland Heights, MO, USA: October 26, 2012 - PART 2/2). The background noise is from the winds as it was windy when this footage was taken, as seen with the small waves in the lake, caused by wind.

Mountain Biking Ride Along Beulah Trail - Greensfelder Park - St. Louis, Missouri
Hola! Welcome to El Snido's Toy Company!
Today's video is from the Beulah Trail at Greensfelder Park in St. Louis, Mo. This is a series of stacked loops that can be ridden from the top of the mountain to the bottom. It is one way to put together a downhill run in St. Louis. This is also one of the local trails and one I hit frequently.
HINT: Stick around to the end of the video if you want to know why the Thumbnail says Round 1.
Most of St. Louis' trail networks are either in West St. Louis County or in St. Charles County. The trails here are often geared toward Cross Country riding and therefore have an even distribution of climbing and descending. St. Louis trails are about twisties, rocks and roots. They range in difficulty from Green to Blue with a few Black Diamonds. Over time, I hope to catalog them all on my channel to help those people coming to visit St. Louis to get a feel for what we have.
This video is aother ride along style of sound. I am not happy with the wind noise and I am looking at another method of recording for future videos. Overall, this type of sound rather than voiceover will hopefully add more realism and let you get a better feel for riding along. I kind of like it because it's more like being there. Let me know in the comments what you think of it(other than the wind) compared to my other videos.

Mountain Biking Ride Along Dogwood Trail - Greensfelder Park in St. Louis, Missouri
Hola! Welcome to El Snido's Toy Company!
Today's video is my ride of the Dogwood Trail at Greensfelder Park in St. Louis, Mo. The Dogwood trail is short but it gives you a taste of the rest of Greensfelder Park. This trail is a loop that unfortunately starts and ends on high ground. This means that if you break anything, there will be no coasting. You will be pushing the bike to your car.
This video is another ride along style of sound. I am using a lavalier mic on this one. Success! I am pretty happy with the wind noise, now if I would just stop puffing like a train on the uphills, all would be well. Overall, this type of sound rather than voiceover will hopefully add more realism and let you get a better feel for riding along. I kind of like it because it's more like being there. Let me know in the comments what you think of it(other than the panting) compared to my other videos.
