Cat Cafe in Japan | Neko Cafe Keurig - The Loft
Oftentimes, cat cafes has pedigree cats. However, this cat cafe is unique because they take in unwanted cats. If people wish to, they can also foster the cats.
I found it so sweet that many sets of siblings were there and it felt more like one big family. They seemed more playful with one another than cats at any other cat cafe I have been to.
In a country like Japan where there is a big cat population problem, these types of cafes are certainly making a difference in the way that people view them and how these cats get to live.

Today was probably our least-touristy we've had, but it was such a nice change!
First we went to Catmosphere Cat Cafe (catmospherecafe.com) and it was soo cool!! The cats were so friendly and playful and the coffee was good too!
Later on we decided to escape the heat (it was 36 degrees!) and found an English screening of Logan. Did you know in Thailand you all have to stand for the royal song before the movie?? Was an interesting experience!

Kitsuki City - Strolling around a samurai town wearing a Kimono
The city of Kitsuki (杵築) is located on the southern side of the Kunisaki Peninsula. The city center is sometimes referred to as a sandwich castle town, because of its interesting topography of having two samurai districts on hills north and south respectively, sandwiching a commercial district in the middle. The districts combined measure about 500 meters north-south and 1.5 kilometers east-west, with Kitsuki Castle standing at the eastern end, close to the coast facing the Seto Inland Sea.
Successful efforts have been made to keep these historic districts free of distractions such as power lines and unsightly signs, thus preserving their authentic atmospheres. The beautiful town features multiple photogenic slopes and samurai residences that are open to the public. Amiable locals look forward to engage with visitors, making it a friendly environment for tourists.
A combination ticket for 800 yen provides admission to all of them. At Warakuan near the Historical Museum, visitors can rent kimono for around 3000 yen, dress in them and stroll the quaint town, taking pictures reminiscent of past centuries.
