The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.
Currently, I have already visited nearly 170 countries and my world tour continues thanks to you who follow me.

Entry from: Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Entry Title: Lakes and waterfalls
Entry:
19th May: Spent the morning messing around in the hostel, packing etc. then took the bus from Sarajevo to Jajce and by the time we got there the rain had stopped, miracle of miracles! Jajce is a lovely little place in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina. It used to be the seat of kings but is now just a small town with a waterfalls and lots of ruins, including a fortress and some catacombs. Had a wander around and checked out the bakery for delicacies!
We camped about 4 km outside the town at the Pliva lakes, which are also very picturesque. We had to convince a bus driver that he could stop and let us out there first, which turned out to be quite interesting. We also met a girl on the bus who was Bosnian but had grown up in Canada and then moved back with her parents after the war, I bet that must have been quite a contrast for her. The campsite was populated by Germans and Austrians who befriended us and were very interested in our trip and where we'd come from and where we were heading to.
20th May: We were hoping that the next morning one of our German or Austrian friends would offer to give us a lift back into town, but we obviously looked like we were enjoying the adventure of being by ourselves with our backpacks too much so no offer was forthcoming! Walked along the lakes back into town, which was actually a lovely walk and there was just enough time for us to visit the catacombs where a rowdy group of schoolkids had just been, before catching the bus onwards.
This journey proved to be one of our more challenging. We wanted to get to the Plitvice lakes in Croatia, which were really not too far from Jajce, but somehow there wasn't any bus connection. The girl at the bus station wanted to send us to Karlovač, which is almost in the middle of Croatia, until we realised where it was and quickly changed our ticket to go to Bihać instead. In Bihać a friendly petrol station attendant let us have a look at a map and suggested to us how we could proceed. The ticket lady at the bus station had another idea however, but eventually we worked out that if we took a bus to Grabovac then we would be nearly at the lakes, so this we did! We then set off walking the 2km from Grabovac to the campsite, but a friendly local restauranteur gave us a lift after he saw us walking down the road with our backpacks. Wasn't really necessary but was nice.
That night it rained and rained and rained and we were in two minds whether to both going to the Plitvice lakes at all, but decided to get the shuttle bus there from the campsite. It was a very wet and cold visit but even so the Plitvice lakes looked stunning. If we'd seen them in sun I think we'd have been even more impressed. They are a collection of about 8 lakes connected by waterfalls of varying sizes. There are walkways all around and buses and boats for some stretches. As the weather was so appalling we made use of the bus and boat transport around the park rather than walking the whole way round and also made use of the cafes along the way! By the time we caught the bus back to the campsite the rain had stopped and there was even a hint of sun, typical.
21st May: Awoke to almost sunshine and thought we should have saved the lakes for today. Packed a still slightly wet tent and headed out to wait for the bus to Zagreb.

Pliva Waterfall in Jajce
The Pliva Waterfall is located by the town of Jajce, in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the river Pliva meets the river Vrbas. It was 30 meters high, but after an earthquake during the Bosnian war and attacks on the power plant further up the river, the area was flooded and now the waterfall is 22 meters high.
