Things To Do In Martha's Vineyard | Jumping Off Jaws Bridge
Located in Edgartown on the island of Martha's Vineyard, the Memorial Bridge (Jaws Bridge) at Joseph Sylvia State Beach was the site of one of the most iconic movies, AND is one of the most fun bridge jumps in the nation!
The nickname, Jaws Bridge, derives from the fact that one of the shark attack scenes in the 1975 Steven Spielberg’s film, Jaws, was filmed there (you can check out the Jaws scene here:
Besides being a tourist destination, there is also a great beach, and jumping off the Jaws Bridge is a ton of fun for those not faint of heart.
WARNING! There is signage on the bridge that discourages jumping, and doing so is at your own risk.

Herreshoff America catboat, sailing around inside the hurricane barrier.
As of today the hurricane Dorian he's still down in the southern east coast of the United States. I'm from Massachusetts, I sail in a place called Buzzards Bay. Today was so rough, I turned around and came back in side the Inner Harbor in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Hey it's better to sail in the Inner Harbor then not sailing at all. The winged boat I talked about is called the eagle, 53 foot catamaran with a fixed-wing on top, with foils to fly on(no kidding). I got the opportunity to go over and talk to them for a couple of minutes while I was Sailing by. They complimented me on my catboat, after I told them their boat was a work of art. They said yes but yours is a classic. I told them it is like I'm driving a Duesenberg and they're driving a Formula 1 car. You meet the coolest people on boats!!
Sailing In Martha's Vineyard - Summer 2014
We rented a mono haul Sloop Sailboat from Winds Up in Martha's Vineyard @windsupmv (links below). We are used to our Hobie Cat, but we busted out the GoPro camera and caught some cool footage! We almost tipped (well, sloops are really hard to tip, but it got iffy at one point), luckily the chaos was on camera. :)
