(28 Feb 2019) NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg attended a meeting with the heads of states of the Bucharest-9 group on Thursday in the city of Kosice in Slovakia.
The Bucharest-9 group includes Poland, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
The summit marked the 15th and 20th anniversaries of eastern bloc countries joining NATO and aimed to strengthen alliance as a collective in the eastern front of the organisation.
