Cruising in New Caledonia: Noumea
The first port of call in our 12-day Pacific Island cruise from Melbourne is the capital of New Caledonia, Noumea.
Linc & Ed enjoyed the Aquarium and saw the Nautilus which you can only find here. We walked around and up the hill to check out the church, Cathedrale St Joseph de Noumea and Bernheim library.
The Duty-free shop was the last stop for this port of call.

DUNEDIN: EXPLORING the beautiful GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE, ST JOSEPH ⛪ (NEW ZEALAND)
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a tour of this small but very beautiful Catholic cathedral and I will describe to you, in general terms, the features of the Gothic architecture and style. Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. New Zealand is an island nation in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses – that of the North Island, or Te Ika-a-Māui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu – and numerous smaller islands. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) south of the Pacific island areas of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga.
