Cattai Camping Ground - Cattai National Park, NSW
The Cattai camping ground is a beautiful large open area with large shady trees. It sits on the Hawkesbury River and boasts flushing toilets and hot showers! There are plenty of firepits and covered picnic tables as well.
This property once belonged to a family who owned the area for many generations so there is a lot of history here. The old homestead still stands and on the way into the campground you can stop and read all about it. The road into this area is bitumen all the way into the campground.

Cattai Camp Ground, Cattai National Park, is a good place for a bit of Glamping. This large picturesque camp ground on the Hawkesbury River boasts hot showers and toilet facilities and is only a short drive north of Sydney. Perfect if you wanna get the family out and about with having to rough it too much.
There is an abundance of wild life in the national park, and you'll be tripping over the roo's as you explore the walking trails and the nearby Cattai historical farm. Great to do either by foot or by bike.
The river is a good spot for water activities including kayaking/canoeing and the camp ground can be accessed by motor boat, however the jetty has a 10 minute limit.
A beautiful part of the world where you can experience camping, with a few of the comforts of home.

Wisemans Ferry and Cattai, New South Wales, Australia
I've been acquiring new gear for the past 2 months but never had a chance to test them out until today. I decided to drive to Wisemans Ferry and Cattai Campground with my fiance and use her as a test subject.
Nothing fancy in this edit but just a quick compilation to test out the colour grading of the footage I shot.
Everything was shot on a Fuji X-T3, DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Zhiyun Weebill S.

First legit winter camping!
The Cattai National Park is a protected national park that is located in the Hawkesbury region of Sydney, New South Wales, in eastern Australia. It protects significant historic sites, but also offers loads of activities, like camping, canoeing, fishing, barbecues, bike riding and bird watching.
We had fun even if the temp dropped to 4 deg. Will definitely come again.

Cattai Campground - NSW
Great campground with good facilities alongside the Hawkesbury River. We enjoyed our night camping here and some late afternoon flying around the scenic picnic area. There's also the 1820's homestead built by the Arndell's and an interesting walking track to explore. Definitely a worthy camping spot :-)
