Climbing Nohoch Muul Mayan Temple | POV Time Lapse | Coba Maya Encounter - How to Travel Mexico
Climbing Nohoch Muul Mayan Temple - Coba Maya Encounter - How to Travel in Mexico | Time Lapse | Alltournative
We travelled to Mexico to a friend’s wedding at an all-inclusive resort. This is the first all-inclusive we have stayed in, normally have very busy travel itineraries so we don’t use all of what you pay for at these types of vacation spots.
Being the types of Adventure Travelers we are we planned many daily excursions from our resort. The Coba Maya Encounter was definitely our favorite tour.
The Coba Maya Encounter Tour by Alltournative is an incredible adventure tour combining with many different elements from zip lines to kayaking. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. The tour will pick you up from your hotel making it very easy to put into your itinerary.
Our Tour included the following
Visit ancestral city of Coba, an archaeological site hidden deep inside the jungle. Climbing the Nohoch Muul temple (the tallest pyramid of the state), you will be able admire the pristine beauty and immeasurable vastness of the surrounding sub-tropical rain forest.
Your unforgettable off-track adventure tour then begins: exciting zip-line flying over an incredibly beautiful Cenote, a refreshing swim, rappelling down into another Cenote, and kayak paddling on a lagoon of enormous beauty. And to end it all, a delicious traditional lunch prepared by the women of this Maya community
Rappel into an impressive cenote (sinkhole), descending approximately 17 meters.
Walk through the jungle and learn about the flora and fauna of the region.
A refreshing dip in the crystal clear fresh water of the cenotes (underground caves).
Two zip lines crossing. Experience the amazing feeling of flying through the pristine rainforest and over the Cayman Cenote or the Cenote de la Vida.
Setting out on a gentle canoe trip on fresh water lagoon you will be able to appreciate the exquisite natural surroundings.
Maya ritual. Be part of an authentic blessing Maya ceremony that a shaman will perform for you.
Traditional meal. Enjoy an authentic Maya menu including soup, chicken, vegetables, rice, beans and handmade corn tortillas.
It was definitely a full adventurous day.
