Beautiful Jurassic Coast in 4K, Portland Bill, World Heritage Site. Caves & Undercuts
Dramatic caves and undercuts in the low cliffs near Portland Bill, Jurassic Coast World heritage Site. The large cavern is Cave Hole, in the grassy hollow is the famous blow hole, which erupts in storms.
Storm at Cave Hole, Portland Bill, Jan 26 2016
The blow-hole here was not performing today as it needs a south-easterly wind, not south-west as we had today.

Portland Bill Waves England UK
Portland Bill is a narrow promontory (or bill) of Portland stone at the southern end of Isle of Portland, and the southernmost point of Dorset, England. One of Portland's most popular destinations, the popular attraction Portland Bill Lighthouse is found in the area. Portland Bill is also noted for its rough coast.
East of Portland Bill is Cave Hole, a large cave with a blow hole and a wooden crane. Along the road leading from the Bill to Southwell village is the Culverwell Mesolithic Site and an ancient strip field system.

Portland 2014 Storm
February 2014 brought another major storm for Portland. Here is a short selection of clips from Chesil Beach and Portland Bill.
Ley Hunting in Staffordshire and Shugborough Mysteries
This is a three-day field trip with the Network of Ley Hunters, led by Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare, discoverers of the Spine of Albion ley running from the Isle of Wight to Scotland, and its associated serpentine energy currents which have been named Belinus and Elen.
This section of it runs through Staffordshire, and includes the city of Lichfield, and its prededcessor the Roman town of Letocetum, now called Wall. We also visit Barr Beacon, a powerful hilltop with a crossing-point of fault lines as well as Belinus and Elen, and legendary Druidical associations, and the huge hillfort of Castle Ring.
Next we come to Shugborough Hall, with its many mysteries associated with the monuments in its grounds created by its owners, George and Thomas Anson. George was an admiral who made his money capturing a Spanish galleon carrying gold from the Americas. Perhaps the most enigmatic of the monuments is the Shepherds' Monument, a sculpted mirror image of Nicholas Poussin's painting Et in Arcadia Ego. Thus it has been seen to have connections on the mysteries of Rennes-le-Chateau, and as Arcadia was an old name for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in Canada, possibly also with Oak Island and its Money Pit. Nearby is the strange Cat Monument, topped by an apparently grinning cat, and with a depiction of a Grail between two griffins, traditional guardians of treasure or knowledge. A Druid sits on top of another monument, known as The Ruin.
We next visit The Cloud, another high hill on the northern edge of Staffordshire, with its adjacent long barrow remains called the Bridestones. Between the two is a standing stone not marked on the map, which seems to have a carved face on it. The axes of The Cloud and Barr Beacon are at the same angle and this follows the Spine of Albion alignment - this is associated with the rising point of the constellation Cygnus, as described in Ley Hunting in Warwickshire and Shakespeare Mysteries, on YouTube.
Finally we come to three places in Knypersley associated with a hermit called Gawton. A cave in the cliff was reputedly his home, and at Gawton's Well we find what is termed the spiritual source of the River Trent, in a group of trees traditionally regarded as a Druid's grove. Then there is the Gawton Stone, a huge rock supported on three smaller ones, like a dolmen.
