Corrupt Jamaicans Stole Pinnacle - Bustamante, Manley, Michael Lake, Lisa Hanna, more
Visit
PINNACLE was acquired by Leonard P. Howell for RasTafari Brothers & Sisters to Live, Learn and Grow within the context of their Indigenous African Heritage. The first self sustaining community in Colonial Jamaica in the late 1930's, using the farming of ganga as one of the main sources of economy for the people. The community was rich with crafts, farms, schools, bakery and a new way of thinking, a New Culture. It is the Birthplace of the Culture RASTAFARI
PINNACLE was eventually burnt to the ground by colonial powers in 1954 and subsequently, all residents had to take refuge in the Caves on the property. Since that time, the residents of the space, who are now elders, have received no acknowledgement of these atrocities, nor compensation. Instead, the lands of Pinnacle have been slowly captured and re-developed by Island Homes, led by the LAKE Family. Many of the remnants and evidence of Early Rastas have been demolished and new homes constructed on even the Ancient Burial Grounds of PINNACLE.
Now plans are now being made to STEAL PINNACLE from the RasTafari people and re-write our History through the framework of Babylon I Glass. It is now common knowledge that our present Minister of Culture Lisa Hanna and Richard Lake of Island Homes are in a relationship. The Minister of Culture has also appointed Michael Lake, his brother, as Vice-Chairman of the National Heritage Trust, which has acquired PINNACLE under the guise of protecting our Heritage.
A GROSS CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
In addition, the NHT has open plans to hire the same Company Lake Home in question to re-develop Pinnacle with their Vision of what a Commercially Viable RasTafari Community should be.
RasTafari is recognized by the UN as an Indigenous People which means that we have Ancestral rights to our Indigenous lands. Minister of Culture also recently lobbied for Jamaica to have a seat on the UN World Heritage Committee, yet in our homelands injustice and cultural corruption runs rampant
RasTa has been ordered to evict our Homelands by Jan 31, 2013.
We have been sold out by our Representation... Where is our Government?
I & I the People ARE THE GOVERNMENT!
Now, I & I must ORGANIZE. CENTRALIZE. MOBILIZE.
We will fight if we find it NECESSARY.We know we shall WIN
We are Confident in the VICTORY OF GOOD over evil.
THE TRUTH IS AN OFFENCE, BUT NOT A SIN.
Let us Gather in the Name of RasTafari and Humanity. The Time Is Now!!

BILL WARREN'S NAVASSA ISLAND WEST INDIES
THIS IS A SHORT VIDEO OF THE ISLAND I BOUGHT IN 1997 NAMED NAVASSA WEST INDIES WHICH IS 120 MILES SOUTH OF CUBA, 60 MILES EAST OF JAMAICA AND 21 MILES WEST OF HAITI. THIS IS PART 1 OF THE VIDEO. LOOK FOR PART 2 AND MAYBE 3. I BOUGHT THE ISLAND FROM PROFESSOR GERALD PATNODE WHO TAUGHT ECONOMICS AT JOHN HOPKINS U. IN MARYLAND. HIS GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS AN OWNER OF THE ISLAND IN 1900. I HAVE A SUPER WEB SITE ABOUT THIS. THIS ISLAND WAS NICKNAMED DEVILS ISLAND IN THE 1800'S. THERE IS A CRASHED MILITARY PLANE ON THE ISLAND, A RAILROAD TRENCH, 32 OLD STONE HOMES, MEETING HALL, HUGE LIGHTHOUSE (NOT WORKING), WILD GOATS THE SIZE OF PONIES, 20 MILLION SEA BIRDS AND A HUGE NATURAL HOLE GOING DOWN 220 FEET TO THE SEA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLAND. CONGRESSMAN RON PAUL OF TEXAS SUGGESTED HE AND I CREATE OUR OWN GOVERNMENT THERE. I WAS ASKED TO MEET HIM AT ONE OF HIS AIDS HOMES TO DISCUSS THE MATTER. I WENT. I SUED AMERICA ON MY OWN OVER BOTH MY REAL ESTATE RIGHTS AND GUANO FERTILZER MINING RIGHTS IN US DISTRICT COURT IN D.C. THE CASE HAS BEEN 'SET ASIDE WITHOUT PREJUDICE WHICH MEANS I CAN REOPEN THE CASE AT ANYTIME. I NEED A LAWYER NOW. THE ISLAND WAS FIRST DISCOVERED BY CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS'S MEN IN 1510. IN THE 1600'S PIRATES LIVED IN WOODEN HOUSES ON THE ISLAND AND IN 1857 A GUANO CLAIM WAS MADE AND 200+ BLACK SLAVES WORKED THE GUANO FOR THEIR WHITE MASTERS. IN 1880 OR SO THEY RIOTED AND KILLED SOME OF THE WHITE MEN WITH AXES. THE GUANO WAS SHIPPED TO A TWON IN NORTH CAROLINA WHICH THE OWNERS OF THE ISLAND NAMED 'NAVASSA.' I HAVE VISITED NAVASSA, N.C. AND SPOKE WITH SOME OF THE KIND CITIZENS AND TOLD THEM OF THEIR ROOTS. THEY DID NOT KNOW ABOUT MY ISLAND AND THEIR HISTORY. IN 1934 AMERICA ILLEGALLY BUILT A LIGHTHOUSE ON THE ISLAND AND IN 1997, AMERICA ABANDONED THE LIGHTHOUSE AND GAVE THE ISLAND TO ME THROUGH THE COAST GUARD AND GSA. THEN MY WONDERFUL GOVERNMENT TRIED TO TAKE THE ISLAND BACK. AMERICA NEVER OWNED IT. IN THE 1970'S THE CIA WENT THERE TO SEE IF NUCLEAR SUBS COULD BE HIDDEN UNDERNEATH THE ISLAND IN THE HIDDEN CAVES JUST AS THE RUSSIANS DID IN UKRAINE AT BAKALVA IN CREMEA. THEN I CAME ALONG. I WANT TO MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT THE ISLANDS HISTORY. I HAVE WRITTEN MANY PRODUCERS BUT NO ONE EVER WROTE BACK. I HAVE BEEN INTERVIEWED BY DOZENS OF MEDIA. STORIES HAVE APPEARED ABOUT ME AND MY ISLAND IN NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES AND EVEN ON FRENCH TV. THE ISLAND IS SOLID VERY VALUABLE SEA BIRD FERTILIZER. I HAVE GUANO MINING CLAIMS ON TWO OTHER GUANO ISLANDS NOT THAT FAR FROM NAVASSA AND HAVE FILED MY LEGAL CLAIMS WITH THE SEC. OF STATE IN D.C. I AM THE FIRST AMERICAN IN 100 YEARS TO USE THIS OLD BUT VALID LAW CALLED THE 'GUANO ACT OF 1856.' THE REPUBLICAN SIDE OF CONGRESS (I RAN FOR CONGRESS TWICE) PROMISED ME MY OWNERSHP AND GUANO RIGHTS WOULD BE UPHELD AND THAT THEY WOULD HOLD FULL HEARINGS ON THE MATTER WITH ME BEING THE PRIME PARTICIPANT. CONGRESSMAN DON YOUNG WAS ONE OF THOSE MAKING ME THE PROMISES. MY OWN CONGRESSMAN, DUNCAN HUNTER FROM SAN DIEGO, REFUSED TO EVEN TAKE MY CALLS LET ALONE REPRESENT ME. WHAT A JERK HE IS. THERE ARE SHIPWRECKS EVERYWHERE AROUND NAVASSA AND THE OTHER 2 ISLANDS. THERE IS BURIED PIRATE TREASURE ON THE ISLAND AS WELL AS THE BONES OF CHRISTOPHER COLUMBU'S SAILORS WHO DIED THERE. UNDERWATER VISIBILITY IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN ON EARTH. ONE SHIPWRECK THERE IS THE FERNGARTH' CIRCA 1934 HAS EXPENSIVE WINE. 115 FEET DEEP. I AM THINKING OF SELLING SOME OF THE ISLANDS 1200 ACRES. IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT RESORT. AN OBSERVATORY WOULD BE NICE THERE AS WELL...... OR A MISSLE BASE :-) OR WHAT ABOUT PUTTING MUSLIM TERRORITS THERE? THEY COULD NOT ESCAPE!!

A collaborative video and activism project between long-time community filmmaker Rebecca Garrett and Sanctuary, a church community drop-in, evolves into an unflinching documentary immersion into the world of police and security guard violence against people who are poor, homeless, and racialized in Toronto.
We have to stop calling the police, says activist Anna Willats. The message resonates in dozens of stories collected at Sanctuary.
Stunning testimony, images, and commentary are woven together with unique video of police assaults and previously unreleased footage from multiple important events in Toronto.
Conflict erupts over nonviolent responses to overwhelming police impunity. Meanwhile, the increasing militarization of public spaces forces us all to ask: What World Do You Live In?

THE STORY OF OUR STORIES
Everything started in a small classroom on the Albright College campus. We are people with different cultural, ethnic, and ideological backgrounds, part of an introductory philosophy class. As with any class, we expected to learn mostly from the teacher, but we never thought how much we could learn from each other.
We started with dialog in small groups, which helped us open ourselves to others. It was a challenging experience for some of us to share certain events that impacted our lives with complete strangers. But the fear of being exposed, judged, or misunderstood became less intimidating every time. We learned to listen to each other respectfully, which was one goal of our time together.
Some might assume that such a diverse group could end without engaging in dialog. This might be a possibility given how little people in our society listen to one another. Our society often focuses on differences between people first instead of reflecting on commonalities that might bring people together.
Practicing what our teacher called “narrative philosophy,” or story telling, our individual stories found common ground and became our story. Later, our story was transformed into the great story, a universal narrative which unveiled the great questions of life we found in sharing episodes in our lives. Questions about how and what we know, what is the meaning of our lives, what is real or who we are were some of the themes of our weekly dialogs.
For almost two months each week we tried to tell our stories and listen to those of others, seeking understanding. Even though with the diversity in our class, we found common ground between us. Connections were made. Listening to each other’s life perspectives through personal stories helped us identify a piece of ourselves in others
Over time we found ourselves recognizing the value of someone else’s life which made that person who he or she was and is and might become. Our differences weren’t seen as barriers, but as opportunities to grow. They brought us closer one to other. We learned to respect one another. It didn’t matter which topic we dealt with, we grew to experience a shared bond. Out of this shared experience grew a project to share our stories with others, a single theme—home—seen from different perspectives, many different world views and cultures and ethnic groups, but illustrating a common journey: Life.
By sharing this short video, which we created and produced ourselves, we hope to show that from one great story there can be woven many individual ones, like a patchwork quilt. Our objective is not to select the best answer or judge who is right or wrong. We want to make known that even if some of our answers are different, they are still able to connect with other answers.
We were practicing doing philosophy as a community of learners. We learned that by the practice of asking questions and engaging in active listening, we were able to understand and respect the thoughts of others, and sometimes even change our own. We believe that this process helped us to grow as individuals and could help a whole society. Learning how to live the examined life and listen to others is what philosophy is–the love of wisdom.

It's been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin's Barbershop. Calvin and his longtime crew are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed.
