This is a continuations of Coron Palawan series .
Barracuda Lake is composed of brackish water, a combination of fresh and salt water.

The lake is known for it's unique thermo-clines, which are distinct layers of cold, warm water and hot water. These thermocline can be experienced while diving. This is caused by the meeting of the cold fresh water and the warm salt water.

Coron Islands Philippines - Coron, Philippines is right up there with El Nido as the most popular destination in Palawan - This absolute paradise of a province on the western side of the Philippines.

Today, we set out to experience some of the most iconic attractions just offshore.

As far as boat tours go in Coron, there’s a ton of different operators and you can negotiate price right there at the market where the boats leave from each morning.

You can jump on a group tour starting at about $20 USD; which usually includes food and snorkel gear - but we decided to rent a private boat to take our time and go where we wanted.

Our first destination for the day was to visit what’s said to be the cleanest and clearest lake in all of Asia - Kayangan Lake.

We then made our way to Barracuda Lake, I’m told, It’s actually a brackish lake which means it’s a mix of salt and freshwater.

And despite the name, we didn’t spot any barracudas.
The third stop on the island tour was another famous spot called the Twin Lagoons.

One of the best aspects of choosing the private tour is that you can spend as much or as little time as you want in each attraction. It also gave me the time to fly the drone over Twin Lagoon and Barracuda Lake.

The last location was called Skeleton Wreck which is a 25m long Japanese supply ship that was hit by an airstrike during WWII by US airforce. The ship now rests at a depth of 5m ranging to 22m at the deepest. It is an awesome spot for snorkeling.

It was a great spot to finish a perfect day here in the Coron Islands Philippines.

April 12-13, 2017 | Four months later, I finally got around to making a video about my trip to the Philippines with my cousin Jordan, my brother Lawrence and of course my Grandma! I've decided to split the videos up into three separate videos that coordinate to the three different places we visited this time around. Palawan was unbelievable. From the hotel to the view, everything was just so breathtaking. We went to Palawan for the sole purpose of island hopping which neither one of us have done before. And that in itself was such a crazy experience. If I had the chance the visit this place again, I would do it in a heartbeat! A huge thanks to the family members that helped us out during the duration of our time there!

Barracuda Lake or Luluyuan Lake, Coron Island, Palawan, Philippines

Second sa Super Ultimate Island Tour ay ang Barracuda or Luluyuan Lake, isa rin ito sa best diving spot sa Coron, Palawan.

Tinawag itong Baraccuda Lake dahil sa nagiisang Barracuda Fish na makikita dito na may habang 2-3 meters.

Ang Barracuda Lake or Luluyuan Lake ay isa rin sa mga lugar na pinangangalagaang Tagbanwa Tribe, isa sa mga oldest ethnic group sa Pilipinas.

Isa rin itong brackish water, 70% of fresh water at 30% of salt water. From Kanyangan Lake, mga 3-5 minutes ang byahe going to Barracuda Lake.

Maraming mga diver sa Lake na ito dahil nais nilang makita ang nag-iisang Barracuda Fish dito, ngunit madalang lamang itong magpakita sa mga turista.
