Cedar Park Texas Best Small City in the United States
Raw transcript:
Hi everybody. Dan Forbes RE/MAX 1. I'm here at the Toyota Dealership in Cedar Park getting my truck serviced. I'm making this video for the email going out tomorrow morning.
If you saw the news that actually came out just two days ago, that Cedar Park, Texas, is ranked the number 10 best small city in the United States.
And so there was a survey that was done by Wallet Hub that ranked Cedar Park has 10th best small city in at the United States. Now they ranked things like housing costs, quality of schools, restaurants, all of those things.
And they also interviewed hundreds and hundreds of Cedar Park residents. And out of those that were interviewed, 91 ranked the quality of life in Cedar Park as its best feature, and 96 lauded the city as a great place to raise children.
That's why our real estate market is so hot here in Cedar Park As a matter of fact, Cedar Park, and Leander, are the two hottest ZIP codes here in Central Texas in the greater Austin area.
Right now in Cedar Park and this report from Independence Title, I rely a lot on some of their research, and right now there's only a 1.1 month supply of homes on the market in Cedar Park. That means that at the rate that homes are selling all of the homes on the market today will sell in about 30 days and the average days on market is actually 30 days.
So it's a hot market. Sellers are getting top dollar. And the good news for buyers, of course, is the low interest rates that they're getting.
Consider me your real estate resource. The number one guy to call whenever you have a real estate question or real estate, need. Dan Forbes, Forbes Property Group, RE/MAX Thanks.

Cedar Park, TX - A Full Service City
20-miles north of Austin, Cedar Park, Texas residents went to their city leaders wanting more - more shopping, more entertainment, and more jobs. The city responded and strategized ways to develop Cedar Park into a full service city. Today, there's a hospital, a world-class sports arena and a shopping mall, but ICMA TV finds these large city amenities aren't enough to kick those small town values.

Dinosaur Tracks in Leander, TX
This video documents our journey from Highway 183 bridge over San Gabriel river in Leander, TX to the location of dinosaur footprints.
Not many people know about the dinosaur tracks northwest of Austin in Leander, Texas. The best way to see the tracks is to find the Highway 183 bridge that crosses the South Fork of the San Gabriel River. About a half mile west from the bridge lies approximately 12 dinosaur footprints embedded in the river bed. Scientist believe the 3 toed tracks belonged to a carnivorous dinosaur, the Acrocanthosaurus. The Acrocanthosaurus looks similar to the Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was 15 feet tall and 38 feet long. According to Wikipedia, the fossils of this dinosaur in USA are found mostly in Texas, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. The round circular tracks belonged to a large herbivore. The members of the expedition were: Krzysztof, Paul, and Kengo. Professor Glinski was our guide.

redlight runner #1-Cedar Park TX
Sitting at the intersection of NB 183A and RM 1431 in Cedar Park. Light turned green for me but after the light was green, a pick up truck ran the red light. Thankfully, myself and the driver of the car next to me noticed they weren't stopping so we waited. The situation could have ended up bad considering the speed of the truck.
