Prior to moving to Oman Benita owned a successful coaching practice, was a professional speaker and writer.

Heather Plett is teacher, writer, coach, and facilitator who helps people make deeper connections with themselves, others, the sacred, and the earth. She gathers people in circle both online and off to share stories, ask questions, make art, and build community. In her quest to find tools to help people make deeper connections, she has become a practitioner of The Circle Way and The Art of Hosting.
Brenden Gail: I WEAR HATS
Brenden Gali is a Film Student at the University of Winnipeg. After finding no future in a science career he found his way in the arts. He enjoys story telling and poetry, and through his studies found his way into the Winnipeg Spoken Word Scene. In his first year competing he managed to the Finals of the 2013-2014 season. He currently writes poetry and is finishing his final year at the U of W.
Bev Doern: FILL UP YOUR TANK
Bev Doern understands the jitters and nerves that come from speaking in front of people. For years, she has been practicing to get her own nervous butterflies flying in formation. A long time member of Toastmasters, she now delights in sharing her thoughts on stage and helping others to do the same.
Doug Speirs: IN THE DOUG HOUSE
Doug Speirs’ humour column, In the Doug House, has appeared on Page 2 of the Winnipeg Free Press at least three times a week since 2006. No one is exactly sure why. He was one of three Canadian columnists nominated for the 2008 National Newspaper Awards in the column writing category. He did not win, but said it was an honour just to be nominated. He was lying about that.
