Collision (notes on time)

COLLISION (notes on time) was a music and print installation, which took place at Cork Community PrintShop, Cork, Ireland, as part of Cork Jazz Festival 2013.
The screenprinted illustrations are the result of a week-long residency at the Celtic & Prehistoric Museum (Ventry, Ireland), incorporating studies of almost 100 artefacts from the earliest human prehistory to the late Bronze Age.
The intention of the audio half of the project was to create artefacts from sound. An extensive collection of field recordings form the main body of the audio - with the partly-improvised music written afterwards, in response to these natural sounds.
COLLISION was an attempt to corrupt the presumption that time is linear.
