Buceo en el Cenote Carwash. Tulum, México
Vlog.

Diving Cenote “Carwash” | Tulum, Mexico
Carwash cenote is aptly called that because it was once used by taxi drivers to wash their cars with.
At a certain time of the year, the cenote actually turns blood red. I didn't see this when I was there but you can google pictures.
I went diving with nomaddiving.com and they provided excellent service. There is an additional fee to dive paid to the owners of the cenote.
A truly unique experience after all my previous diving was saltwater and open ocean or sea caves.
I had never done cavern diving before this but I loved it. Located in Tulum, Mexico.

Cenote CarWash Scuba Dive in Tulum, Mexico
A great little dive in a crystal clear water, submerged trees leading to a cavern filled with huge stalagmites and stalactites, some from floor to ceiling and wider than an arm spread.
The caves below lead to some world class caves filled with a myriad of passages and rooms adorned with stalagmites and stalactites but I never got this far, still my shallow dive in the spectacular site was awe inspiring! Enjoy! Thank you Julia for being my dive guide.

Welcome to my channel, I hope you enjoy watching all the kayak fishing around the UK, mostly in the North Sea - in the sea and river, fishing for cod, bass, tope, dogfish, smoothound, thornback ray, whiting, wrasse and anything else I can target There's scuba diving off the North Norfolk Coast and Suffolk, wreck diving, reef diving, river diving, even Cenote Diving, in the Red Sea off Egypt, the Mediterranean off Malta and Gozo and in Mexico, Brazil, Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Pembrokeshire in Wales, Swanage and Plymouth and of course the diving with sharks in South Africa. There's kayaking too, including surfing sailing and touring in the UK and abroad and a bit of snorkelling, Plenty of videos too of me fiddling with and driving my classic car, a 1973 Triumph Spitfire and other cars get a look in too. There's cooking, eating, travelling around various cities in Europe - Berlin in Germany, Naples and Rome in Italy, plus the Vatican; Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and elsewhere in Bulgaria; Lefkosia / Nicosia and much of Cyprus, Krakow in Poland, there's Malta too. Istanbul in Turkey just outside Europe too, and Egypt around Hurghada. Further afield there's a bit of South Africa and Latin America with the Mayan Riviera of Mexico and Rio de Janeiro, Paraty and Isla Grande in Brazil. There's even a bit of Northern Ireland and parts of England mixed in with the nonsense of East Anglia in a camper van with my daughters! If you enjoy one video please watch another and consider subscribing so you don't miss future uploads however crap they might be! Thanks and regards, Mark

As a double above knee amputee, diving is almost the perfect sport. I've been diving for a long time, since the mid eighties actually, and the last 4 years as an amputee, and I have to say cenote diving was an absolute highlight for me. It challenges your buoyancy skills in a way no other type of diving does. Can't wait to do it again!

Cenote Carwash (Aktun Ha) in Tulum Mexico
Aktun Ha is a beautiful cenote in Tulum Mexico, also named (carwash) because the locals used to take their cars to wash in that location. A perfect cenote (sink hole) for scuba diving, snorkeling and freediving.

This is an incredible dive in Tulum, Mexico with John Wells diving. It is called the Car Wash or also known as Aktun-Ha. The water looks like a swamp from the top but when you descend through the hydrogen sulfide cloud on the top, it opens to a new planet filled with flowers, trees, fish and a cave system. It is truly an incredible cenote dive.

Diving in Carwash Cenote Tulum Mexico - Underwater Flower Garden
Cenote Carwash, also known as Cenote Aktun Ha (White Cave) is so close to the main road to Coba, so that people used to wash their cars there. Fortunately, it is no longer the case. Cenote Carwash is one of the most beautiful clear water dive locations in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The amazing light play and the abundant flora and fauna make it one of the most photographed. Water lilies, lily pads, turtles, various fish, small crocodiles and brown underwater decorations keep inspiring divers from all around the world.

Tulum - Mayan Underworld Cenote and the Car Wash Cenote
We snorkeled Soliman Bay and visited the CAR WASH Cenote! Beautiful Crystal Clear Water. Then we visited the Mayan UNDERWORLD on private land. This is an underground cave with a river we floated. Spectacular!
