Queen Street, Auckland CBD
We went to Auckland CBD on the weekend, we walked through the Queen street down to the Queens wharf on the Auckland waterfront.
The information below is from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Queen Street is the major commercial thoroughfare in the Auckland CBD, Auckland, New Zealand's main population centre. It starts at Queens Wharf on the Auckland waterfront, adjacent to the Britomart Transport Centre and the Downtown Ferry Terminal, and runs increasingly more steeply uphill for almost three kilometres in a mostly straight south-southwesterly direction towards the Karangahape Road ridge, and the residential suburbs in the interior of the Auckland isthmus.

University of Auckland, City campus .
University of Auckland, City campus
The University of Auckland is the largest university in New Zealand, located in the country's largest city, Auckland. It is the highest-ranked university in the country, being ranked 83rd worldwide in the 2019/20 QS World University Rankings.
The University of Auckland is spread across four main campuses in the City Centre, Epsom, Grafton and Tāmaki. This is a walking tour around city campus.
The information below is from university website
The University of Auckland is spread across four main campuses in the City Centre, Epsom, Grafton and Tāmaki.
The ClockTower is the University of Auckland’s most iconic building. The 54-metre tower, faced with Mount Somers stone, was inspired by the famous Tom Tower of Christ Church, Oxford.
For many years the building housed all Arts departments, Architecture, Law, Music and the Library as well as the University Hall. The rear wing provided extremely limited student amenities until the Student Union Building was opened in 1968.
Between 1985 and 1988, the main wing was renovated, strengthened and cleaned, regaining the whiteness which originally suggested the popular name of the wedding cake.
This major reconstruction work earned an award from the Institute of Architects.
The building now houses Student Administration and the Council Room.

Hamilton city, New Zealand
Hamilton city, New Zealand
Phillip had a two weeks school holiday in April, so we decided to revisit Hamilton city. It took one and a half hours to get there from Papakura. We visited the Hamilton gardens, Waikato museum and the Hamilton lake domain.

The information below is from the website
The city of Hamilton is located on the banks of the mighty Waikato River, which is best appreciated from one of the scenic riverside walks or boat cruise. The visually stunning Hamilton Gardens are webbed by paths that journey through a gallery of themed gardens from grand Italy to tranquil Asia. Other city highlights include the Waikato Museum which provides an insight into the areas rich history and the Hamilton Zoo, which provides native birds with enormous freedom in a walk-through free flight aviary. The Zoo also offers visitors 'Face2Face' encounters with exotic animals.
Hamilton's central precinct is easy to walk and packed with cafes, restaurants, a casino and bars where you can wine, dine and dance the night away. The city is also well known as a destination for national and international events from sporting matches such as rugby, cricket, netball, rowing and boxing to concerts and festivals. Annual events such as the National Agricultural Fieldays and Balloons over Waikato festival draw crowds from far and wide.
