Blue Badge Parking Problems in Boston, Lincolnshire
This video is all about Equality in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Unfortunately, the Conservative Boston Borough Council have decided Equality means charging Blue Badge Holders to park their vehicles.
The same cannot be said about Councillors & Council Employees as they do not pay to park, although they all get much more in allowances and pay than most disabled people.
BIKE NIGHT IN BOSTON UK 2019
ANNUAL FUN NIGHT IN THE CENTRAL PARK FOR BIKERS. THURSDAY 4TH JULY. MEET OLD FRIENDS AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS.
Vandals in Boston's Central Park
Two young teenagers damaged the Council's Jubilee Fountain shortly after it was installed.
Was the Fountain not fit for purpose OR is it the case that the Borough Council did it's usual thing and brought CHEAP?
The problem would never have arisen in Victorian Days when things were made of Cast Iron BUT then in those days there would have been no such thing as female councillors spending council money.
Ah, the Good Old Days!
Boston Walking Tour - Beacon Hill, Public Garden, Newbury Street | Travel Guide 【4K】
Exploring Boston City - Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the US. Started walking from Charles Street in Beacon Hill - Boston's most affluent neighborhood. A tiny street in Beacon Hill called Acorn Street is known to be the Most Photographed Street in the US because of the preserved cobblestones pavement. Built in 1837, the Boston Public Garden is a large park in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, located right next to Boston Common. Newbury Street is a destination known for its many retail shops and restaurants.

Virtual Road Trip #90: Boston (UK)
Boston: 'the most divided place in England'.
London 4K - West End Drive - Driving Downtown - England
Sunday afternoon drive through the crowded narrow streets of the heart of London. London's West End is the largest central business district in the United Kingdom, comparable to Midtown Manhattan in New York City, Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, Shibuya in Tokyo, or the 8th arrondissement in Paris.
The West End of London refers to a distinct region of Central London, west of the City of London and north of the River Thames, in which many of the city's major tourist attractions, shops, businesses, government buildings and entertainment venues, including West End theatres, are concentrated.
While the City of London, or the Square Mile, is the main business and financial district in London, the West End is the main commercial and entertainment centre of the city. It is one of the most expensive locations in the world in which to rent office space.
London is the capital of and largest city in England and the United Kingdom, with the largest municipal population in the European Union. London is considered to be one of the world's most important global cities and has been termed the world's most powerful, most desirable, most influential, most visited, most expensive, innovative, sustainable, most investment friendly, most popular for work, and the most vegetarian-friendly city in the world. London exerts a considerable impact upon the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism and transportation. London ranks 26 out of 300 major cities for economic performance. It is one of the largest financial centres and has either the fifth or sixth largest metropolitan area GDP. It is the most-visited city as measured by international arrivals and has the busiest city airport system as measured by passenger traffic. It is the leading investmentdestination, hosting more international retailers and ultra high-net-worth individuals than any other city. London's universities form the largest concentration of higher education institutes in Europe. In 2012, London became the first city to have hosted three modern Summer Olympic Games.
London has a diverse range of people and cultures, and more than 300 languages are spoken in the region. Its estimated mid-2018 municipal population (corresponding to Greater London) was 8,908,081, the most populous of any city in the European Union and accounting for 13.4% of the UK population. London's urban area is the second most populous in the EU, after Paris, with 9,787,426 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The population within the London commuter belt is the most populous in the EU with 14,040,163 inhabitants in 2016. London was the world's most populous city from c. 1831 to 1925.
London contains four World Heritage Sites: the Tower of London; Kew Gardens; the site comprising the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, and St Margaret's Church; and the historic settlement in Greenwich where the Royal Observatory, Greenwich defines the Prime Meridian, 0° longitude, and Greenwich Mean Time. Other landmarks include Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square and The Shard. London has numerous museums, galleries, libraries and sporting events. These include the British Museum, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Tate Modern, British Library and West End theatres. The London Underground is the oldest underground railway network in the world.

Back Bay is an officially recognized neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is most famous for its rows of Victorian brownstone homes—considered one of the best preserved examples of 19th-century urban design in the United States—as well as numerous architecturally significant individual buildings, and cultural institutions such as the Boston Public Library. It is also a fashionable shopping destination (especially Newbury and Boylston Streets, and the adjacent Prudential Center and Copley Place malls) and home to some of Boston's tallest office buildings, the Hynes Convention Center, and numerous major hotels.
Prior to a colossal 19th-century filling project, Back Bay was a literal bay. Today, along with neighboring Beacon Hill, it is one of Boston's two most expensive residential neighborhoods.
Buildings around Copley Square
Copley Square features Trinity Church, the Boston Public Library, the John Hancock Tower, and numerous other notable buildings.
Trinity Church (1872–1877, H.H. Richardson), deservedly regarded as one of the finest buildings in America.
The first monumental structure in Copley Square was the original Museum of Fine Arts, begun 1870 and opened 1876. After museum moved to the Fenway neighborhood in 1909 its red Gothic Revival building was demolished to make way for the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel (1912–present).
The Boston Public Library (1888–1892), designed by McKim, Mead, and White, is a leading example of Beaux-Arts architecture in the US. Sited across Copley Square from Trinity Church, it was intended to be a palace for the people. Baedeker's 1893 guide terms it dignified and imposing, simple and scholarly, and a worthy mate... to Trinity Church. At that time, its 600,000 volumes made it the largest free public library in the world.
The Old South Church, also called the New Old South Church (645 Boylston Street on Copley Square), 1872–75, is located across the street from the Boston Public Library. It was designed by the Boston architectural firm of Cummings and Sears in the Venetian Gothic style. The style follows the precepts of the British cultural theorist and architectural critic John Ruskin (1819–1900) as outlined in his treatise The Stones of Venice. Old South Church remains a significant example of Ruskin's influence on architecture in the US. Charles Amos Cummings and Willard T. Sears also designed the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
Boston Common (also known as the Common) is a central public park in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. It is sometimes erroneously referred to as the Boston Commons. Dating from 1634, it is the oldest city park in the United States. The Boston Common consists of 50 acres (20 ha) of land bounded by Tremont Street (139 Tremont St.), Park Street, Beacon Street, Charles Street, and Boylston Street. The Common is part of the Emerald Necklace of parks and parkways that extend from the Common south to Franklin Park in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and Dorchester. A visitors' center for all of Boston is located on the Tremont Street side of the park.
Boylston Street is the name of a major east-west thoroughfare in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. From west to east, Boston's Boylston Street begins at the intersection of Park Drive and Brookline Avenue as a two-way, six-lane road in Boston's Fenway neighborhood where it runs through three blocks of recently developed and currently under construction (as of 2015) high-rise, mixed-use buildings one block south of Fenway Park before forming the northern boundary of the Back Bay Fens at the Storrow Drive/Commonwealth Avenue right-of-way. Traffic traveling west on Boylston here cannot continue on Boylston Street, and must use Ipswich Street to continue west. Then, Boylston Street enters the Back Bay neighborhood where it becomes a major commercial artery carrying three lanes of one way traffic eastbound after Dalton Street. As it travels through the Back Bay, it forms the northern boundary of busy Copley Square and provides the southern limits to the Boston Public Garden before becoming a two-way street running along Boston Common's southern edge from Charles Street to Tremont Street. After Tremont Street, Boylston returns to carrying one way traffic east before ending at Washington Street in the downtown area where it changes to Essex Street.

BOSTON, EXPLORING America's oldest city park, Boston Common (Massachusetts, USA) ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a walk along Boston Commons, a central public park located downtown in the historic city of Boston, Massachusetts. It dates from 1634 and it is the oldest city park in the United States. The Boston Commons consists of 50 acres (20 ha) and I videotaped it on a rainy wintry day, I will be back on a sunny day to videotape its art displayed everywhere...
Boston is Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The key role it played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. One stop, former meeting house Faneuil Hall, is a popular marketplace.
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

THIS CLIP FEATURES:

Western Avenue

Watertown Square

At the time, bus service (also a streetcar line prior to the 1930s) between Watertown and Waltham was operated by the Middlesex and Boston Street Railway as the 523. In 1972, the 523 was combined with the 70 to create the present MBTA bus route that runs from University Park & Central Square, Cambridge to Cedarwood Gate via Watertown and Waltham. There is also the variant to Market Place Drive and the 70A variant to Lakeview. Note that University Park is the bus terminus for the 70, 70A and 64 in the area of Central Square, Cambridge.
Unfortunately, there are no scenes around Lower Allston, Barry's Corner and the Watertown Arsenal -- possibly because there was almost nothing along those stretches of Western Avenue and Arsenal Street at the time.
As of 2016, Western Avenue has been seeing a lot of redevelopment. The historic Charles River Speedway Superintendent's Building (seen at 1:48) still stands at the intersection of Western Avenue and Soldiers Field Road & Market Street; however, it is at risk of being demolished due to all the nearby redevelopment going on in North Brighton and Lower Allston. The little house (seen at 1:54), near the present-day Irving Gas Station at Mackin Street, was recently demolished and the parcel is currently being redeveloped.
A lot of new building are popping up all over Boston... and in Waltham too!
