Downtown Inn French Quarter, the building could be seen of exotic European. This is because New Orleans was the colonial past of France and Spain in 1803, Louisiana has a unique history with the United States to buy the territory from France. Just call these landscapes are a number of non-American tourists is also the most attractive. In the French Quarter it is located in the center facing the Mississippi River, Jackson Square, and American war hero and been named after Andrew Jackson, the seventh president. So whether it can meet in the central square of his group horseback. France and Spain cheohyeongjang bloody reign there was a place where the citizens of New Orleans, but is now a peaceful square egen representative leisurely getaway to spend time. In particular, many artists look good to me with the work of the public discourse of his own unique color and is probably the best painters egen Jackson Square Gallery which can be boasted of his skills deutsipda. I met a painter of distance selling the heck seemed incomprehensible graffiti works. I again heard the explanation could barely find the image of a man playing a musical instrument in the figure in the same graffiti. SUMMARY
=======
The 1952 Kern County earthquake occurred on July 21 in the southern San Joaquin Valley and measured 7.3 on the moment magnitude scale. The main shock occurred at 4:52 am Pacific Daylight Time (11:52 UTC), killed 12 people and injured hundreds, and caused an estimated $60 million in property damage. A small sector of damage near Bealville corresponded to a maximum Mercalli intensity of XI (Extreme), though this intensity rating was not representative of the majority of damage. The earthquake occurred on the White Wolf Fault near the community of Wheeler Ridge and was the strongest to occur in California since the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
The town of Tehachapi suffered the greatest damage and loss of life from the earthquake, though other locations in Kern County experienced significant damage as well, but its effects were widely felt throughout central and southern California. The July mainshock had a significant aftershock sequence that persisted into July and August with many magnitude 5+ events with intensities of V (Moderate) to VII (Very strong). Six of these aftershocks occurred on the day of the mainshock, but the strongest aftershock came on August 22 as a M5.8 event that had a maximum perceived intensity of VIII (Severe) and resulted in the deaths of two people and caused an additional $10 million in property damage.
Following the event, a field survey was conducted along the fault zone with the goal of estimating the peak ground acceleration of the shock based on visually evaluating precarious rock formations and other indicators. Ground disturbances that were created by the earthquakes were also surveyed, both in the valley and in the foothills, with both vertical and horizontal displacements present in the epicentral area. The strong motion records that were acquired from the event were significant, and a reconnaissance report was recognized for its coverage of the event, and how it set a standard for those types of engineering or scientific papers. Repercussions of the sequence of earthquakes were still being felt in the heavily damaged downtown area of Bakersfield well into the 1990s as city leaders attempted to improve safety of the surviving unreinforced masonry buildings.
Super 8 by Wyndham Bozeman, Montana Review
This is a review of a queen room in the Super 8 by Wyndham located in Bozeman, Montana. The hotel is located at 800 Wheat Dr, Bozeman, MT 59715. The phone number is (406) 551-6314.
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was for the price. It was actually cheaper than some of the more run down hotels in the city. The front desk staff were very nice and we ended up talking for awhile about local events. The room was very clean, and well stocked with amenities. There is a guest laundry located onsite.
The hotel is located in a very safe part of the city with a Mcdonald's right next door and a Wal-Mart a mile or so down the road. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in the Bozeman area!

Versailles is a 90,001 square-foot house residential home belonging to Westgate Resorts founder David Siegel and his wife Jackie Siegel — and under construction at 6121 Kirkstone Lane, Windermere, Florida in the gated community of Lake Butler Sound in Orange County. Both named and modeled after the Palace of Versailles in France, the completed project will be one of the largest single-family home in the United States which include Biltmore House at 178,926 square feet
Construction began in 2004 with progress subsequently stalling at 60% completion in 2009 when Siegel's company encountered financial difficulties — and the home was listed for sale at $65 million
With Westgate Resorts' improved finances as of 2013, Siegel now owns the property outright and construction will resume with completion scheduled for 2016. Expected to appraise over $100 million, the project will be the fourth most expensive house in the United States.
Designed as the primary residence of the Siegels and their eight children,[6] the home and its owners were the subject of the 2012 documentary film The Queen of Versailles as well as an episode of CNBC's Secret Lives of the Super Rich.
Constructed on a man-made hill on 10 acres of lakefront property[6][9] the residence will include 9 kitchens,[2] 13 bedrooms,[3] 25 bathrooms,[3] 30-car garage,[1] two-lane bowling alley,[1] indoor rollerskating rink,[1] 3 indoor pools, 2 outdoor pools,[3] video arcade,[6] ballroom with a 500-person capacity,[4] two-story movie theater with balcony inspired by the Paris Opera House,[1][3] fitness center with 10,000 square-foot spa,[1] yoga studios,[1] 20,000-bottle wine cellar,[6] xotic fish aquarium,[6] two tennis courts,[6] baseball diamond,[6] formal outdoor garden,[6] and elevator in the master bedroom closet.[2] Because the Siegels's children are older now, modifications to the original plans include turning playrooms into a teenager’s cave with a second movie theater and a yoga studio.[10][11]
Doors and windows are constructed using some of the last remaining Brazilian mahogany,[1] at a cost of $4 million.[2][6] Exterior walls are precast concrete with Pavonazzo marble veneer;[6]the entryway will feature a 30-foot stained-glass domed oculus;[1] and the residence will have ten staff quarters, each with a jacuzzi and a kitchen.[1]

SUMMARY
=======
The history of the United States from 1865 until 1918 covers the Reconstruction Era, the Gilded Age, and the Progressive Era, and includes the rise of industrialization and the resulting surge of immigration in the United States. This article focuses on political, economic, and diplomatic history.
This period of rapid economic growth and soaring prosperity in the North and the West (but not in the South) saw the U.S. become the world's dominant economic, industrial, and agricultural power. The average annual income (after inflation) of non-farm workers grew by 75% from 1865 to 1900, and then grew another 33% by 1918.With a decisive victory in 1865 over Southern secessionists in the Civil War, the United States became a united and powerful nation with a strong national government. Reconstruction brought the end of legalized slavery plus citizenship for the former slaves, but their new-found political power was rolled back within a decade, and they became second-class citizens under a Jim Crow system of deeply pervasive segregation that would stand for the next 80–90 years. Politically, during the Third Party System and Fourth Party System the nation was mostly dominated by Republicans (except for two Democratic presidents). After 1900 and the assassination of President William McKinley, the Progressive Era brought political, business, and social reforms (e.g., new roles for and government expansion of education, higher status for women, a curtailment of corporate excesses, and modernization of many areas of government and society). The Progressives worked through new middle-class organizations to fight against the corruption and behind-the-scenes power of entrenched, state political party organizations and big-city machines. They demanded—and won—women's right to vote, and the nationwide prohibition of alcohol 1920-1933.
In an unprecedented wave of European immigration, 27.5 million new arrivals between 1865 and 1918 provided the labor base necessary for the expansion of industry and agriculture, as well as the population base for most of fast-growing urban America.
By the late nineteenth century, the United States had become a leading global industrial power, building on new technologies (such as the telegraph and steel), an expanding railroad network, and abundant natural resources such as coal, timber, oil, and farmland, to usher in the Second Industrial Revolution.
There were also two very important wars. The U.S. easily defeated Spain in 1898, which unexpectedly brought a small empire. Cuba quickly was given independence, as well as the Philippines (in 1946). Puerto Rico (and some smaller islands) became permanent U.S. possessions, as did Alaska (added by purchase in 1867). The independent Republic of Hawaii voluntarily joined the U.S. as a territory in 1898.
The United States tried and failed to broker a peace settlement for World War I, then entered the war after Germany launched a submarine campaign against U.S. merchant ships that were supplying Germany's enemy countries. The publicly stated goals were to uphold American honor, crush German militarism, and reshape the postwar world. After a slow mobilization, the U.S. helped bring about a decisive Allied Forces victory by supplying badly needed financing, food, and millions of fresh and eager soldiers.

New York - The City of Dreams
My visit to New York was the first time I ever went to the United States. I have never left europe before and I was filled with anxiety to see a whole new continent, even if its just out the window of a plane
When we arrived at New York JFK airport, we got in a cab and went to the hotel. First a visit to the times square was necessary to strech my legs. I was absolutely blown away by the new world that opened up to me in this beautiful city.
To start with, the experience of skyscrapers was pretty cool, I think you can tell in this video. I was also amazed by the hospitality and politeness of the people around me. Even if I was foreign, this politeness made me feel at home very fast.
The many scenes filmed above the city were shot from the Empire State building and Rockefeller Center. These were my favourite trips and I would recommend putting these viewing deck locations on your sightseeing list.
The thing I enjoyed the most in New York was simply walking along the streets and seeing this new and different world open up and change behind each corner of this prefectly organized city.
