Description in both English and Polish (opis po Polsku poniżej po kliknięciu POKAŻ WIĘCEJ).Backpacking through Thailand, Phuket and our trip to Weekend Market in April 2015.
Phuket weekend market (locally known as Naka Market), located along Chao Fa West Road just outside Phuket Town not far from Central Festival.
It really is worth a visit even if you're not planning on buying anything. If you were to ask, “What’s for sale here?” the answer would probably be, How much time do you have? as the list of goods is endless.
Even though the Phuket Weekend Market is not as big as Bangkok’s humongous Chatuchak Market, it’s still impressively large (we have seen both).
Things get going at around four o’clock in the afternoon when the sun isn’t so savage and it closes after nine at night. It’s a good idea to get there early to avoid the crowds and also to find a place to park as this is definitely problematic past 4:30.
Opening Hours: Saturday & Sunday from 16.00 til 21.00
Location: Talad Tai Rot is located along Chao Fa West Road.

Phuket Weekendowy market (dla lokalnych znany jako Naka Market), znajduje się wzdłuż Chao Fa West Road zaraz poza miastem Phuket, niedaleko od Central Festival.
Market naprawdę wart jest zobaczenia, nawet jeśli planujecie nic nie kupić. Pytacie “Co mozna dostać?”, odpowiedz - “Jak dużo macie czasu?”, lista jest niekończąca.
Pomimo że Phuket Weekendowy market nie jest tak duży jak bardzo znany Bangkok Chatuchak Weekendowy Market, robi mimo wszystko wrażenie (widzielismy oba).
Wszystko zaczyna sie okolo czwartej po południu, kiedy słońce już trochę odpuszcza, a zamykane około dziewiątej w nocy. Dobrym pomysłem jest pojawić się nieco wcześniej zanim tłum nadciągnie, też aby znaleźć miejsce parkingowe, bo po 16.30 napewno będzie to trudne.

Eight Koreans arrested for running gambling website in Phuket.
Police are searching for the boss of an online gambling operation after eight Koreans were caught running a gambling site in Phuket.The arrests follow a report from Bangkok police in March about the gambling racket. Phuket police tracked down the online operation to a rented home at Eva Town in Wichit.
The suspects told police that they were only employees, and that someone else had created the Korean language website, so people could place bets on international sporting events.
All eight suspects confessed to their crimes, and were charged with operating an illegal online gambling website.
