The Atlantico Shopping Centre (or in Spanish, Centro Comercial Atlantico) has been chosen by Porvoolainen Travel Channel the BEST shopping centre for 2011-2018. It is only 15 minutes drive from Maspalomas & Playa del Ingles. We feel that the quality of the shopping experience is really world-class here. This has been kept up to world class standards since it opened, and that is why we recommend it.

What can we find there? Over a hundred quality shops and free parking space for over 2000 cars. The total area is 127,000 square meters, distributed in two floors. We have a very big Carrefour hypermarket which has a huge selection of items at great prices, and also smaller shops like Zara, Mango, a Santander bank, etc. There are also good restaurants and fast food ones like McDonald's (actually there are two McDonald's one is inside in front of Carrefour, and the other one is outside, it is a drive-through, in the parking lot, so you can get your burgers without getting down from your car). If you don't have a proper internet connection at your hotel or apartment, you can buy a SIM card from the Yoigo stall or the Phone House shop.

Caleta de Fuste is the largest community in the municipality of Antigua, Las Palmas, Spain on the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.

Caleta de Fuste is frequented by a variety of tourists and has numerous hotels, shops, boutiques, bars, cafes, and restaurants on or near the beaches. In the main harbour is a castle built as a martello tower by the military engineer Claudio de Lisne in 1743.

In addition to Caleta de Fuste beach activities, local recreation includes sailing, diving, windsurfing, and scuba exploration. The ocean waters in the area are known for their dolphin and turtle populations. A weekly trade fair at Caleta de Fuste is known for having some of the best deals on leather goods. Nearby is the Championship golf course, one of two at Fuerteventura and home to the Spanish Open in 2004. The second golf course is right next to the first, finished in 2007.

The villa is located in a very quiet and peaceful location, and is only 10 Minutes’ walk to Golf and Beach. The villa is a short distance from the small holiday resort of Caleta de Fuste. Shops and restaurants are also conveniently nearby at the local Atlantico Commercial Centre. The villa is just 10 minutes’ walk from the 5 Star Elba Palace Golf Hotel and Golf Club, offering a wide variety of services. The villa is furnished and equipped to accommodate 6 persons. The villa is beautifully appointed throughout, with top quality furnishings used. An outside staircase leads to a large fully tiled sun terrace on the first floor, offering a 360° view taking in the golf course, the local mountains, the Atlantic Ocean and you can even see the local yacht marina in the distance. Atlantico Shopping Centre: At the entrance to the golf course resort {10 min. walk from the villa} you will find the new Atlantico Shopping Centre, which offers a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, a large supermarket, a cinema, a bowling alley, and charming up market shops. You will also find a large 'Spar' supermarket which will cater for all your food requirements.

There are restaurants and bars overlooking the promenade and sea, with a pizza restaurant and a burger bar for snacks. There is a small games/entertainment area for the children and a ¾ length bowling alley (with a bar) for the whole family. There is a multiplex cinema too but as yet all films are shown in Spanish only.

Caleta de Fuste is built around a horseshoe shaped bay, and the golden sandy beach is ideal for family holidays. Caleta de Fuste is rich in character, and offers a wide variety of entertainment, and fun areas for small children. On Saturday mornings there is a Market offering a wide variety of souvenirs which are rich in African culture. There are a wide variety of excursions available at Caleta de Fuste, including trips to the endless beaches in the South, the sand dunes in the North, La Lajita Zoo and Botanical Garden, camel rides, water park, catamaran and boat fishing trips, to mention but a few.

Fuerteventura Airport is approximately 8 km away. A free shuttle bus service is available daily between the golf club, the commercial centre and Caleta de Fuste. This runs every half hour up to 10pm. The taxi service on the island is efficient and very reasonably priced. You can arrange a taxi from the Airport to the golf resort, for 15 Euro {approximately}. As a result car hire is not strictly necessary. However we would recommend hiring a car for part, if not all of your stay.
