Fantastic video of Chamang Waterfall, which is a hidden in a small town called Bentong in Pahang, West Malaysia.

PLACE FOR PICNIC & CAMP- BENTONG CHAMANG WATERFALL

During my visit. it is not a good day for swimming due to the raining season. The waterfall and the river water was too rush and dangerous. They provide place for shelter, long picnic table and BBQ stove. There have two camping site cross over the suspension bridge. Toilet are provided. Entrance fee per adult is RM2. Overnight camping may have other charges. Most important check the flag post color before go to swim at the waterfall. I notice there are many underwater current at the waterfall. Take precaution there as few cases of people have drown and died. Parents should pay full attention on children when playing there.

After attending my classmate's brother wedding, without wasting any time, we directly shoot to Chamang Waterfall, Bentong, Pahang Darul Makmur and release some stress there. ^_^

Two killed, two injured at Bentong waterfall by uprooted tree

A weekend camping trip for 25 friends at Lata Hammer Waterfall in Bentong, Pahang turned tragic when two of them were killed after a tree uprooted and fell on them.

Bentong district police chief Supt Yusuf Unis said police have classified the incident as sudden death, adding that two other campers were also injured in the 10pm incident on Saturday .

Chamang Waterfall at Bentong

This was a tourist spot near Bentong, Malaysia. Janet was working and I stole the car and went for a trip. The water fall really flows in the wet season and the amount flowing over here was impressive enough. There was a sign saying not to go into the water if you have cuts or open wounds due to viruses and infections and if after swimming you get sick within 2 weeks see the doctor. I dove straight in... NOT!!! We are so lucky in Australia, believe me! There was a suspension bridge maybe 20 metres long which had loose boards and rocked like crazy. I took my chances and ventured across. Anyway, this is the No.1 tourist spot in Bentong....I'll leave it at that.
