Things to see at Mauritius: Chamarel Falls & 7 Coloured Earth
Chamarel is a mountain hamlet located in the hills above the south-west coast of Mauritus where some of the most unique and scenic nature attractions of Mauritius can be found. We've visited two of those: Seven Coloured Earths (a geological formation of sand dunes comprising sand of seven distinct colours) and the Chamarel Falls (83m/272ft high waterfalls on the river St.Denis. We've also went to see the rum distillery Rhumerie de Chamarel and stopped at the Le Chamarel restaurant where we enjoyed amazing panoramic views. Hope you'll enjoy some snaps from our trip.

This footage is about a recent trek we've done to the Chamarel waterfall found in Black River, Mauritius. It was a wonderful trek with lots of enjoyments and fun. A good training shoes is needed for this trek as it is very slippery almost everywhere. As we say, We hike for the journey, not the destination.
