ExploreYourTrail.com: Fly Fishing the Mighty Columbia River
Fishing Location: Symthe Bay - Bingay Bay, located at the entrance to the beautiful sub-division of Sunningdale in Trail BC Canada.
Factoid: The Columbia River between the Waneta BC-USA border north on the Columbia River up past Trail BC to Castlegar BC Canada is known to have some of the Best Fly Fishing spots in North America for rainbow trout. There have been fisheries estimates of anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000 trout per kilometer of river making this river the prime location for avid anglers to fish for trophy rainbow trout and walleye.
When on the Columbia River between Waneta BC at the border and up past Trail BC look up along the mountain bluff cliffs on the north east side and you will find the Corridor of Flags and Lights. We have the first 2 of a federation of 25 foot flag poles consisting of ten provinces and three territories, and each of the 25 foot flag poles are placed along the mountain cliffs in distinct locations each with a Canadian Flag, solar lights and one of the provincial flags of Canada, or an area community flag for that of Trail, Warfield, Rossland, Fruitvale, or Montrose.

AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURE: Friends, making a quality Loloho video is kind of like making sausage – only slightly more violent. It's a ridiculous amount of work that typically involves high dollar camera drops, blue-screen-of-death computer crashes, and at least one angry shotgun wielding old man shouting, “Hey! Get the hell outta here!” Once the final video is posted, rewards here on YouTube are few and far between (unless you are a masochist who enjoys being verbally abused by anonymous trolls). One saving grace is our affiliate links. JUST CLICKING THESE LINKS HELPS TO SUPPORT OUR LITTLE SHOW. Think of this clicking as like tipping - except that it doesn't cost you anything extra! If you eventually make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we will receive a few pennies (and Sean typically invests these pennies in duct tape and video gear). Again, it doesn't cost you anything to click these links, and it's a great help to us. As always, safe travels, happy camping, and THANK YOU!
