Coats for Kids | Chances Casino Chilliwack
Murray Honda and Canadian Tire provided over 700 local children from Chilliwack to Boston Bar with brand new warm winter coats. With a value of over $110,000.00 directly into our communities most vulnerable, we would not have been able to achieve this without the dedicated support of our sponsors.
All great successes cannot be achieved without the right people involved.

Meet Your BC Ambrosia Apple Growers - Railou & Rupinder Gill
Farmers, in general, are no strangers to risk but Railou Gill appears to be quite friendly with the idea of taking chances.
He and his father moved to Canada when he was a teenager. He'd spent a little time on his uncle's farm during his high school years but had no idea how to run one. That didn't stop him from taking charge when his father bought an orchard. And, they were successful.
Flash forward to a trip to India where he met and married his wife, Rupinder, in less than a day. That worked out as well as the happy couple shared with us the success of their partnership - not the least of which is their four children.
Rupinder wasn't too sure about Railou's next gamble - buying a very large piece of barren land that didn't have a water supply.
When we visited them at Paradise Orchards in Cawston, BC (while they were proudly harvesting their Ambrosia apples), we discovered what happened when they took that chance. And, how Railou managed to convince Rupinder it would all work out.
After visiting with them, we're going to guess that every challenge and chance-taken came with a lot of laughter. We're sure their story will put a smile on your face - we'd love for you to meet them.

Canadians Deserve the Truth on SNC-Lavalin Scandal
Liberals on the Justice Committee tried to kill the SNC-Lavalin investigation, saying there’s nothing left to hear, but of course that’s not true. Justin Trudeau’s disgraced former Principal Secretary Gerry Butts has submitted new evidence. The former Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould submitted new evidence.
The Justice Committee must resume the investigation so that Canadians can hear the truth.

NAHL vs BCHL
This episode discusses the NAHL (North American Hockey League) and compares to the BCHL (British Columbia Hockey League) and other junior A leagues in western Canada.
First we examine the Wenatchee Wild in the 2014-2015 hockey season when they competed in the NAHL. Then the following year, the Wenatchee Wild switched leagues and competed in the BCHL in the 2015-2016 BCHL season. The Wenatchee Wild kept a lot of their players when they moved from the NAHL to the BCHL. The Wenatchee Wild ended up placing better in the BCHL then they did in the NAHL.
Next we examine the number of player scholarships that are given to each league in the 2015-2016 hockey season. The NAHL led the way with 245 player commitments, the BCHL had 148 player commitments, the AJHL had 95, the SJHL had 52 and the MJHL 38.
Next we look at the past Royal Bank Cup Winners in the last 8 seasons. A team from the BCHL has won it 4 times in the last 8 years. Manitoba has won it twice, Alberta once and Saskatchewan once.
The intention of this video is to provide players with knowledge and different options for leagues to play hockey in order to earn a NCAA scholarship.

The City of Kelowna is poised to adopt by-law changes that will legalize these kinds of rentals, but licensing comes at a cost and chances are the suite in your renovated garage or carriage house will not qualify.
Kat - Public Record (Live Acoustic)
Hey Krew, finally a video for Public Record. This was filmed at Chilliwack Party In The Park a couple of weeks ago. Please watch the video to the end, as there is information/statistic provided for anyone that needs or wants it.
The song was written by Karen G (Momager) originally as a poem. Anthony and I were able to translate the poetry into a melody which is in essence what a song is. I hope you enjoy it. Please comment, rate, like, and share. xo Kat
