Changi Beach Park

Changi Beach Park (Chinese: 樟宜海滨公园, Malay: Taman Pantai Changi, Tamil: சாங்கி கடலோர பூங்கா ) is a beach park located at the northern tip of Changi in the eastern region of Singapore.

The 28-hectare beach park is one of the oldest coastal parks in Singapore, retaining the kampung or village atmosphere of the 1960s and '70s. The park is approximately 3.3 km long with stretches of sandy beaches between Changi Point and Changi Ferry Road. Beach Park is popular among locals as a hangout for overnight family picnics, especially on weekends. Some individuals enjoy fishing, watching landing airplanes, jogging and watching the sunrise or sunset here. Sunrise can be viewed from the SAF Changi Ferry Terminal on the eastern end of the park and sunsets can be viewed from Changi Point. Barbecue parties, camping and watersports are some common activities. In addition, food lovers visit Changi Beach for seafood at the nearby Bistro@Changi, or for different food options at Changi Village.

While the appearance of Changi Beach looks pristine and inviting, its history tells a different story. Visiting the site of such a terrible massacre is enough to send chills down anyone's spine. Planespotting at Singapore Changi Airport - Spotting at Changi Beach Park - Plane Spotters Paradise

We are Planespotting at Singapore Changi Airport, from Changi Beach Park, a fantastic location for Plane Spotters to get a view of a huge selection of airlines and aircraft types. This is part 1 of our 2 part Planespotting at Singapore Changi Airport video or should we call it Plane Spotting from Changi Beach Park. We are located at the end of Runway 20 R which means we have a fantastic view of aircraft on Final Approach / Short Final to Singapore Changi Airport. Maro is with her Canon Camera and 400mm lens and Maxi is filming with his 4K Panasonic camera.

Owing to the location the final landings are not in view but the incoming aircraft overhead are still a worthwhile watch. If you are ever in Singapore and are an aviation enthusiast or Avgeek, wecan highly recommend that you spend a few hours Plane Spotting at Singapore Changi Beach Park, this is a fantastic Planespotting location for Singapore Changi Airport. PULAU UBIN & CHANGI BEACH PARK | Vlog 12 | Wanderlust On Wheel

Pulau Ubin is an island northeast of mainland Singapore. Cycle trails and footpaths criss-cross the hills, going past disused granite quarries and traditional kampongs (villages). Kingfishers and bulbul birds inhabit the tidal flats and mangroves of the Chek Jawa Wetlands. The Jejawi observation tower and a looped boardwalk offer views of this area. Changi Point Coastal Walk, Singapore

Shout out to all nature lovers!! Here's your chance to enjoy one of Singapore's best walking path for free! There are six distinct sections on this boardwalk: Creek Walk, Beach Walk, Sailing Point Walk, Cliff Walk, Kelong Walk, ​and Sunset Walk. This walking path begins from Changi Creek in the east and stretches to the western rocky coast near Changi Beach Club, before finally linking up to Changi Point or Loyang Park Connector at Netheravon Road.

Walking time is around 45 minutes, a distance of approximately 2.2km

Changi Beach Park, Singapore

One of the oldest coastal parks in Singapore, Changi Beach Park still retains a kampong ambience. With stretches of pristine white beaches dotted with coconut palms, BBQ pits, park benches and shelters, the park is a great place for families to gather for swimming, picnics and barbecues.
Approximately 3.3km long, Changi Beach Park stretches from Changi Point to Changi Ferry Terminal and overlooks Pulau Ubin.

Park lighting hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am
