CHAPULTEPEC Park is a massive city park located to the west of Mexico City - bigger than Central Park in New York with up to 250,000 visitors per day. Chapultepec Park is just another perfect example of how varied Mexico City is!
You can even visit Castillo de Chapultepec, yes, a castle! Chapultepec Park also has a zoo and SO many museums including the Museum of Anthropology (this will be in another video).

Chapultepec Park of Mexico City
Glimpses of Mexico: The Bosque de Chapultepec (Bosque de Chapultepec) of Mexico City, Sunday, 3 June 2012.
Exploring Coyoacan + Chapultepec Park | Mexico City Day 3
Our third and final day in Mexico City was spent wandering around Coyoacan and Chapultepec Park, learning some history at Chapultepec Castle and The Museum of Anthropology, drinking coffee, and eating barbacoa, ice cream, chilaquiles, and of course, tacos.

Parque Chapultepec is amazing - Mexico City ????????
Parque Chapultepec is amazing and incredibly huge. For us, it was impossible to explore everything it has to offer : CASTILLO DE CHAPULTEPEC, ZOO, OR EVEN THEME PARK. But at least today we hit the most famous museum of Mexico - the National Museum of Anthropology, which is the most visited museum in Mexico City where showcase collections include the Stone of the Sun, giant stone heads of the Olmec civilization that were found in the jungles of Tabasco and Veracruz, treasures recovered from the Mayan civilization.
Also, after spending 2 hours at the museum, we got hungry and of course in Parque Chapultepec, there is street markets and food parks
Many vendors in the park have stalls set up selling food, snacks, souvenirs and we feel like the road never will never end. You can shop till you drop here as well

Chapultepec Park in Mexico City MASSIVE [Bosque Chapultepec] CDMX 2019
The Chapultepec Park in Mexico City is the perfect escape from the city if you need a little green breathing room. Bosque Chapultepec is massive and a must on your list of things to do in Mexico City.
Enter through one of the main gates from the streets or Chapultepec subway stop. If you follow the main pathway you will see the Altar a la Patria. Near the entrance, there are food and snack stands and souvenir hawkers. Pass them, we finally see a bit more of the forests in the park.
Bosque de Chapultepec is considered the lungs of Mexico City, helping replenish the oxygen of the city. There are pretty flowers and many tree species like the Montezuma cypress locally called ahuehuetes.
The park is divided into 3 sections, 1 section is home to the Lago Menor, a lake that many birds appreciate.
Bosque de Chapultepec measures 686 hectares (1700 acres). Besides all the welcomed greenery, it is home to many of the city's attractions, like the Chapultepec Zoo, modern art museum and the Museum of Anthropology.
Another popular site is the colonial Chapultepec castle. Chapultepec means grasshopper hill in Nathual, in fact, it was first a retreat for the Aztec rulers. You can find petroglyphs and the Baths of Moctezuma, and see later tributes marking the city's history like the Obelisco a los Niños Héroes.

Chapultepec Park | English | Subtitles | 2018 | Mexico City | Canadian in Mexico
Chapultepic Park is one of the largest city parks in the western hemisphere at 1,695 acres. This park is a great place to spend the day. Within the park is a zoo, which is the biggest attraction for Mexican's visiting the park and area.
We decided to tour the park, get cotton candy, and look at the ducks in one of the handful of lakes. Within the park there are several museums you can visit as well, although we didn't take the time to visit any of them.
There were several interesting places to visit and see. We saw the Monument to the Ninos Heroes. Just outside the main gates lies Estela de Luz, a monument to the Mexican Independence.

Pre-Hispanic Dancers at Chapultepec Park in Mexico City
I took my friends to see Los Voladores De Papantla in Chapultepec Park in Mexico City. While we were waiting for the next show we came upon this group dancing and performing some rituals from those cultures. One guy had a deer on his head so I had my picture taken with him since I also killed a deer on my Harley just outside of Yellowstone National Park.
Chapultepec Park Mexico City
Chapultepec, more commonly called the Bosque de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Forest) in Mexico City, is one of the largest city parks in the Western Hemisphere.
Chapultepec Park, or Grasshopper Hill, is the largest city park in the world, an awesome expanse of greenery marbled with walking paths that take you through amazing calmness of the busy hectic Mexico City.
Mexico City 'green lung' wins Large Urban Park Gold Award
The woodlands of Mexico City's Chapultepec Park have received the International Large Urban Parks Gold Award.
The World Urban Parks Association named this park the Best Urban Forest in the World. The award considers factors such as historic, cultural, and environmental significance. For a city notorious for air pollution, Chapultepec Park is perhaps the capital’s most valuable space.

CHAPULTEPEC PARK - MEXICO CITY WITH KIDS
Chapultepec Park is the largest city park in the world. It's filled with museums: Anthropology, Modern Art, Kids Museum, Natural History and on and on. It's got trails, bike rental, stroller rental, face painting, food, a full outdoor Zoo, a castle,a pond; it just goes on and on.
What a godsend for us to spend a day there seeing as much as we could, getting outdoors, some exercise and family time.
The greatest thing about Mexico city is how it's big enough to compete with Tokyo and Paris and New York but still maintains all the Latin American family values that Luna and I love so much.
