More Biodiversity Than HAWAII? | INDIANA DUNES Travel Vlog
Does Indiana Dunes National Park contain more biodiversity than Hawaii? I head to the West Beach area of Indiana Dunes to check out the beautiful landscapes and ecosystems along the dunes, woods, and beaches along the lakeshore of Lake Michigan home to many varieties of plants and animals. I am joined by a special guest and friend, Dima (DiscoverWithDima), as we explore the hiking trails around the park.
Special thanks to Dima for appearing in the video! Check him out here:

Description
Hiking Turkey Run State Park, Indiana
Explore one of the most beautiful places in Indiana. The park is filled with hollows, gulches, canyons, forest, small caves, creeks and waterfalls.
I visited Turkey Run State Park in mid October during an unusually warm spell, with highs around 80. It also rained heavily for a few hours before my hike, which added to the misty look you see in the video. Almost unreal in person, like something out of a movie.
Trails hiked: 3, 5, 9, 10. These trails took us from the Nature Center where we parked over the suspension bridge, through the Ice Box, Bear Hollow, Falls Canyon, Boulder Canyon, and Rocky Hollow. We also walked off trail along the shores of Sugar Creek, where we saw no one. We saw one deer and heard an owl.

Abandoned railroad tunnel in Indiana!! // Clifty Falls State Park
50 Hikes 50 States - Checking off INDIANA!
We spent the day at Clifty Falls State Park in Madison, Indiana. Madison is the cutest little town with this hidden gem of a state park! They have 8 trails, and we hiked trails 2, 5, and 7.
Trail 2 is in the bottom of Clifty Canyon holding Clifty Creek. We had fun cooling off in the water and hiking over the rocks.
Trail 5 holds a SUPER COOL tunnel that was originally blown out for a railroad, however the company went bankrupt. Now it's just left for people to explore in the dark!
Trail 7 leads to some really cool waterfalls!
Clifty Falls is so family and pet friendly and also includes an adorable inn for guests to stay overnight. They have a dining hall and a shop!
Happy Adventuring,
Jake & Sam

[Wikipedia] Bethlehem, Indiana
Bethlehem is an unincorporated community in Bethlehem Township, Clark County, Indiana, United States, twenty-five miles up the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. It was platted in 1812 and according to WPA records was presumably named for Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Its first office was established on March 6, 1816. The community's post office is popular around Christmas with those wanting to have a Bethlehem postmark on Christmas letters and cards.
