Cayman Brac best part #1
Come to Cayman Brac and enjoy World Class diving. The best in all the Caribbean and only comparable to a couple of places in the world. Great people, island food, occasional folk bands, Jerk chicken nights (Fri, Sat, Wed), kareoke (several local bars) and of course the GREAT diving. This video was compiled from video shots taken from several trips over a year's period, from late '07 through '08. Lots of small stuff not seen frequently in other places throughout the Caribbean.

First invasive green iguana of 2019 captured on Cayman Brac
Cayman Brackers are hoping to avoid the green iguana infestation seen in Grand Cayman, and on New Year's Day, the first invasive green iguana of 2019 was captured on the Brac's West End.
Cassie Macdowell of Green Go Cayman Brac told Cayman 27 the iguana is believed to have been hatched in 2018.
Ms. Macdowell sprang into action after the sighting was reported to Cayman Brac's wildlife hotline, capturing the invasive iguana within 15 minutes of the call coming in.
The attitudes on the Brac are a lot similar to Grand, said Ms. Macdowell. A lot of the locals really don't want to see this issue progress, it is very rarely that we do have sightings, but when we do we are quite effective at controlling them and getting the greens as soon as we can.
Ms. Macdowell said the group aims to continue its vigilance as to iguana control efforts on the Brac.
She said 46 green iguanas were culled on Cayman Brac in 2018.

The Abandoned Resort in Cayman Brac Trailer (Divi Tiara Beach Resort)
Watch the film:
In April 2013, I visited Divi Tiara Beach Resort on Cayman Brac, one of three Cayman Islands in the Caribbean. It's about 12 miles long and a mile wide.
While exploring the island, I discovered the abandoned Divi Tiara Beach Resort on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
The film documents my discovery of the resort as it happened and is followed by a conclusion presenting my research on the resort's past with several old photos included.
