(From Wiki):
Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) is Vietnam's third largest city, and is located on the Eastern Sea coast, midway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and the largest city of Central Vietnam.
The city itself has neither the atmosphere of Hanoi nor the hustle-bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, but has its share of sights and is close to the ancient cities of charming Hoi An and the imperial capital of Hue, making it a popular vacationing spot for those looking to explore the attractions of central Vietnam or soak up some rays while hanging out on the city's beaches.
There are three main beaches in Danang. (A fourth one faces north into the bay and is not a place where expats usually go.) The beaches on the eastern side of the city are beautiful and developed for expat-friendly tourism. In the north is Pham Van Dong beach and Temple Resort. Temple Resort has a beautiful infinity pool under the palm trees with a view of the ocean and beach (90,000 VND). The My Kye Beach (China Beach) is at the eastern end of the Dragon Bridge road. And at Holiday Beach in the south is where you can walk into the cafe-rich An Thuong area and rent a surf board--Holiday Beach always has bigger waves than other parts of the beach.

Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) Airport - ???????? Vietnam - 4K Virtual Tour
Walking around the public and transit zone at the Da Nang Airport. Click here ▶ to see highlights and guide.
(From Wiki):
Da Nang International Airport is located in Da Nang, the largest city in central Vietnam. It is the third international airport in the country, besides Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), and is an important gateway to access central Vietnam.
In addition to its civil aviation, the runway is shared with the Vietnamese People's Air Force, although military activities are now extremely limited. The airport served 5 million passengers in 2014, reaching that passenger count around six years sooner than expected. An expansion of the new terminal is currently considered to increase its capacity to 10 million passengers per annum by 2020. This airport handled 6,722,587 passengers in 2015, an increase of 34.7% compared with that of 2014.

Salah satu lagi destinasi MUST GO di Vietnam, Da Nang. Jadi, jangan tunggu lagi!

Walking Around Da Nang Part 1
Da Nang, Vietnam
Video Recorded: October 2017
Walking around Da Nang, very close to the beach. A lot of construction going on, when I recorded this video. A lot of buildings getting build, that will eventually will or are now Hotels, Apartments, and such. They are very close to the beach, within couple of minutes walking distance.
When I was there, it was very nice weather. Couple days before I recorded this video, there was a typhoon. Nothing major happen in Da Nang, but just a lot of rain for couple of days. Later on, another traveler told me that in Hue, it was flooded, and because of that, he came to Da Nang.
I was going to go to Hue, and stay there for about 1 week, but because of the rain and flood, I just decided to go up to Ha Noi. In Vietnam, you either travel from South to North, or South to North.
To get to Da Nang, from Saigon(Ho Chi Minh, City), it was about 1 hour airplane ride. And from Da Nang, to Ha Noi about the same, about 1 hour. From Ha Noi, back to Saigon(Ho Chi Minh, City), it was about 2 hours by airplane.
I spend about $200 Us Dollars for 3 different airplane tickets, buying them either within 1 day of traveling, or on the same day.
I hope that you enjoy this video, and as always huge thanks for watching!

Da Nang Drone Flight: Da Nang (Vietnamese: Đà Nẵng) is one of the five largest cities in Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Haiphong, and Cần Thơ in terms of urbanization and economy. Located on the coast of the South China Sea at the mouth of the Han River, it is one of Vietnams most important port cities. As one of the countrys five direct-controlled municipalities, it is under the direct administration of the central government. Da Nang is the commercial and educational centre of Central Vietnam, as well as being the largest city in the region. In addition to its well-sheltered, easily accessible port, Da Nangs location on the path of National Route 1A and the North–South Railway makes it a hub for transportation. It is located within 100 km (62 mi) of several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Imperial City of Hue, the Old Town of Hoi An, and the My Son ruins. The city was previously known as Cửa Hàn during early Đại Việt settlement, and as Tourane (or Turon) during French colonial rule. Before 1997, the city was part of Quang Nam-Da Nang Province. // Da Nang is a coastal city in central Vietnam known for its sandy beaches and history as a French colonial port. Da Nang, Vietnam (Tết Preparation) Street Scenes
Da Nang is the gorgeous coastal city in central Vietnam known for its amazing beaches. Finding your way around Da Nang is very easy and there is no better way to do it than on the back of a motorbike or scooter. You can either rent your own or hop on the back of a Grab driver's bike. Here are the streets of Da Nang from the angle.
During the trip, you might see some of the build-up towards Tết, or Lunar New Year, as it is the most important celebration in Vietnam. The New Year date is February 5, 2019, and the days leading up to Tết are considered national holidays as well.
Vietnamese prepare for Tết by cooking specific New Year foods, cleaning out their homes, buying new clothing, and paying respects to their ancestors. Flowering trees are placed outside every home and office, and a feeling of excitement and cheer envelops the entire country. On the very first day of Tết, children will receive a red envelope containing lucky money from elders in a tradition known as mừng tuổi in the north and lì xì in the south.

DA NANG Vietnam | UNREAL Drone Footage! | My Khe Beach | WHAT TO EXPECT | Son Tra Mountain | MONKEYS
Follow Tom on Instagram;
Vlog 12 | Da Nang, Vietnam. We met some monkeys! Captured UNREAL Drone Footage of My Khe Beach and Son Tra Mountain!
Things to do in Da Nang, Vietnam
1. Son Tra Mountain (aka Monkey Mountain)
Da Nang is home to Vietnams protected monkey the red-shanked douc. Stunning to see in the wild, drive slow on your way up to the top of Son Tra Mountain and on your way back... we didn't see any until the way down but now we know why it's called monkey mountain!
Incredible view point at the top of Son Tra Mountain makes the trip all the more worth it (even if you don't see any monkeys).
2. My Khe Beach, Da Nang Vietnam
One of the worlds best beaches, probably one of the longest too!
My Khe beach has it all. We enjoyed a nice walk along the front, smoothies in the sun and even had a little play in the sea too!
3. Lady Buddha
We were on our way to Son Tra Mountain and we couldn't help but notice a HUGE statue up on the hillside... we took a couple of turns and ended up at the Lady Buddha. Not just a statue, there's plenty to see here with stunning gardens and miniature statues all around. We spent a good hour or so at the Lady Buddha location, highly recommend visiting this place when in Da Nang, Vietnam!
4. Hire A Scooter And Go Explore Da Nang!
If you are staying in Da Nang, hire a scooter and head towards the My Khe Beach and Son Tra Mountain which is not too far from the beach.
It's a straight road from the beach to monkey mountain, with the lady buddha on route. Enjoy the drive!!
Next stop for us is Hoi An, only 45 minutes down the road from Da Nang which is a bonus... no 6 hour trains / buses required here!!

Da Nang, Vietnam: An Overlooked Charming Coastal City of Asia
Da Nang is a large coastal city in central Vietnam. It's often overlooked for nearby cities such as Hue and Hoi Anh. There are many places to explore such as the mysterious Marble Mountains and magical Ba Na Hill. If heights aren't your thing, hop over to one of the many gorgeous beaches such as My Khe, which boasts a 20-mile stretch of white sand! Da Nang also contains many places for great food and drinks. It's a shame you won't find as many backpackers as other places but it's definitely easy to meet locals right next door to your hostel! Da Nang is one place you surely should not skip out on!
