Loughborough is a town in the Charnwood borough of Leicestershire, England. Loughborough is the seat of Charnwood Borough Council and home to Loughborough University. Loughborough is close to the Nottinghamshire border and is within a short distance of locations such as Nottingham, the East Midlands Airport and Derby.
Loughborough has the world's largest bell foundry — John Taylor Bellfounders, which made the bells for the Carillon war memorial, a landmark within the Queens Park in the town, Great Paul for St Paul's Cathedral, and York Minster. The first mention of Loughborough is in the 1086 Domesday Book. Loughborough's local weekly newspaper is the Loughborough Echo. The town of Loughborough is also served by Leicestershire's daily newspaper, the Leicester Mercury.
Loughborough railway station is the mainline national station serving the town. Network Rail has recently redeveloped the station, increasing the length of platforms and improving access. The local council has made concurrent improvements to the surrounding area. The M1's Junction 23 lies just to the west of Loughborough. The River Soar passes by to the east of the town. Navigation from Loughborough north towards the Trent was achieved in 1778 by the Loughborough Navigation, which terminates at Loughborough Wharf between Derby Road and Bridge Street.

CC AS Wentworth X2, Charnwood Museum, Queens Park, Loughborough
This is another set in the museum.
Again, not the best but not the worst either.
Overall Gents Grade: C- (HLs SHOULD ALWAYS be present in an old building like this, but on the bright side, there's no eco bullshit in here)
Going Down The Slide At Queens Park, Loughborough
A rather full and comprehensive view of going down the slide (yep, the kiddy one) at Queens Park, Loughborough, Leicestershire, and on demand, the highly popular and well known celebrity - Matt Pullan (Matty P). Recorded not by ammy himself but one of his sources....... Also stars other people but most importantly Matty P.

Loughborough War Memorial and Carillon, U.K
Built in 1922 as a War Memorial. It houses 47 bells, crafted by the local John Taylor Bellfoundry, and its tones can be heard during the regular Thursday and Sunday afternoon concerts in summer months.
Inside the building, there is a wealth of exhibits and material relating to all branches of the armed Services with considerable material relating to both World Wars and especially the local links with American forces stationed in Leicestershire during World War II. People wishing to find out more about Loughborough's military history can visit the Loughborough Roll of Honour website which holds a large amount of photographs and other information, including a full list of the names on the Carillon Memorial.
From the viewing gallery at the top of the Carillon, there are excellent views of the Charnwood area
Taylor's Bell Foundry - World's Largest Working Bell Foundary in United Kingdom
Taylor's Bell Foundry or simply Taylor's, is the world's largest working bell foundry, located in Loughborough, Charnwood borough of Leicestershire, in the United Kingdom.
It was bought out of Administration in 2009 by a consortium called UK Bellfoundries Ltd who successfully re-financed and re-established the business. Since then the company has re-established its presence not only in the UK but also in the North American Carillon and other export markets.
The restoration of the foundry buildings commenced with the re-opening in 2012 of the foundry's own Campanile which contains the most pealed bells in the world. It is one of the few Victorian purpose built manufacturing sites still being used for its original purpose and therefore of considerable heritage merit.
CC AS Wentworth, Charnwood Museum, Queens Park, Looughborough
This is at the Charnwood Museum.
Not the best, but not the worst, but annoying for such an old building but anyway, first came across this a few months back but didn't film. However I decided to return and film it for those who like Wentworths, namely SomeGuyFromBristol, Toilets of the UK and Santric900, who are referred as witty nicknames at the end.
Overall Gents Grade: C-

Currency
Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:
• banks
• travel agents
• Post Offices
• airports
• major train stations.
It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
