Cannock Chase - Follow the Dog & Monkey Trail
I thought I'd record my local trails in Cannock Chase. This is where I do most of my riding and whilst this covers Follow The Dog and The Monkey Trail in brief, there are loads more single-track trails to explore on your mountain bike in other parts of the forest.
The weather was stunning, so the trails are nice and dry. They are rideable all year round but you may find some of the black sections where there are steep rock gardens a little more tricky in the wet.

Cannock Chase RAF Hednesford
We visited the old RAF site that was active from 1939 - 1956, we tried to communicate with some spirits at the old mortuary site however we didn't get any answers that we know about.

Different feel to using a lat machine really comfortable control plus great feel ! Apologise for bursting into posing ! Sudden music change fired me up ! lol.

Chase Through Time
Great War practice trenches, lost prehistoric burial mounds and remnants of a medieval hunting forest could be discovered in a new project at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire. Staffordshire County Council’s ‘Chase Through Time project will use state of the art LIDAR technology to scan the landscape and digitally peel back the vegetation to help uncover the county's lost heritage.
The project will be working with Historic England and is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
