There are different night markets open every night of the week in Hua Hin. Thai food markets and night markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets & night markets all over Thailand. At the markets you'll find so much Thai cuisine on offer & the food here is cheap, and so tasty! Thai food has been heavily influenced by Chinese food so you will find lots of familiar flavours.
And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. You’ll find street food on many street corners in Thailand, be it in Hua Hin, Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya or Krabi and at all of the markets. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in Thai restaurants. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!
Subscribe to my channel for my latest vlog and for more videos on what to do in Thailand and what to eat in Thailand. New Thailand videos posted every Wednesday about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Hua Hin, Bangkok, Phuket, Patong, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

Hua Hin town daily market. Market is mainly indoors with a little splits the streets. For my wheelchair a little narrow, but it seems like there's always somebody who wants to pass.

What's Dean doing in Thailand
If you are ever in Hua Hin then the Cicada Night Market is well worth a visit. Located south of the town towards Khao Takieb it is easily found as it is right outside the Hyatt Barai Hotel.
From Hua Hin town it will only take you about 10 minutes in one of the tuk-tuks for a fixed price
The Cicada Night market is set in its own grounds and has a large eating area, where you can buy all sorts of Thai foods and then sit down and relax after you have tired yourself out walking around the stalls. You need to buy meal tickets first.

Hua Hin Day 1 - Thailand Vacation - 5D4N From Hua Hin To Bangkok
May 2018 in Thailand !
Schedule :-
1. Hua Hin Airport
2. Royal Pavilion Hua Hin
3. Plearn Wan Vintage Village
4. The Venezia Hua Hin
5. K.O Seafood
6. Chat Chai Night Market
Day 1 -
Arrival in Hua Hin Airport, tiny airport with windy blue skies and full of people ! We queue for more than half hour there just to get pass the customs. Then we got our simcard there (another 30mins) and depart to hotel (10mins) by taxi (500 baht).
Settled down then we ordered grab car to Sombat Tour to get our bus ticket tomorrow to Bangkok. While waiting for grab, I quickly sneak into the Family Mart in front of our hotel to get some Thailand 'Must buy'. After we get our bus ticket, then we head back to Plearn Wan which is few mins distance outside our hotel.
It's a nice place to walk around and take photo here. Then we took our lunch in Plearnwan (Siewyuk Rice/Boat Noodle/Pork skin) and then depart to next destination - The Venezia
We got offered 200 bahts to go Venezia by a tuk tuk. Comparing grab cost 180bahts, we decide to go with thai style tuktuk. Tuktuk uncle was very nice, he gaves us his contact so that we can call him after we done.
Not recommended to visit Venezia as the place is quiet and almost empty. Most of the shops that operating had closed down and those still opening like farm is not maintained (broken/dirty). It feels like an abandoned town yet the entrance ticket is so expensive ...
Then we called the tuktuk uncle to send us back to hotel. After some rest, we walked out to the Chat Chai market (in 5 mins) for our dinner. Had our dinner in K.O Seafood (MOST RECOMMENDED!). Cheapest seafood ever! We spent only 640 baht for our dinner. After dinner we just walk around in the just don't have space for food anymore...
End of Day 1 -

CICADA MARKET HUA HIN
Cicada Market located Southbound at the end of Phetkasem Rd Hua Hin heading towards Khao Takiab Beach. Approximately 300 metres past the IBIS Hotel. The Market is only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings from 1700 - 2200 hrs with ample parking. Tuk Tuk or Taxi will cost you 150 - 200 baht from the city centre and there is an abundant supply of Taxi’s.
The main attraction is FOOD….Lots of choice! Make sure it cooked well. No Cash juts coupons and an average meal costs 200 - 300 baht. There are a lot of stalls with the market selling various crafts, clothes just about everything you can think of. You can haggle if you like LOL?
There is an Open Air Theatre which has 2 evening shows priced at 350 Baht. The shows are normally excellent with actors from Bangkok. Book your seats early to avoid disappointment. There is also Live music normally a Jazz Band that starts at 8 Pm - Highly recommended.
I had so much film I decided to make 2 Parts to justify the Market.
As always if you liked the film a ‘Thumbs Up’ would be greatly appreciated. If you want to see more films like this Please Subscribe to my channel for more - Thanks!
