NIR 8094
A video I honestly did not want to make, NIR 80 class thumper 8094 was cut up at York Road and scrapped in Ahgoghill on 11th March 2017, introduced to 1977, it worked for 31 years until 2008 when it overhauled for use beyond 2008 due to increase in passenger numbers, 8094 was part of the last 80 class passenger run on 23rd September 2011 and formed part of the 80 class farewell tour on 25th September 2011, in which the formation was 94-752-749-90, since then it was part of the Sandite train and painted yellow however suffered an engine failure in 2014 and has been stored since and today it was sent for scrap. All these photos were taken in October 2014, now only 4 80 class power cars remain, 69 and 90 (most likely preservation), 99 spares donor in England and 97 which will go for scrap. 94 gave 39 years of valuable service to the people of Northern Ireland and is no longer around, bye-bye 94

Join me on a Honda ST1100 on a recent ride through Belfast and Bangor. I noticed a heavier than usual presence by the PSNI both mobile and static patrols, plus a number of other observations seen while out and about in some glorious late summer sunshine.

On Sunday the 7th of October 2018, Northern Ireland Railways (NIR) 111 class locomotive number 8113 operated a Water Jetting run from Portadown - Newry & Retrun.
The first clip is at Derriaghy where we see 8113 running from York Road Depot - Portadown P-Way Sidings where it collected the water jetting wagon.
Having collected the water jetting wagon at Portadown, 8113 is seen passing Scarva while heading South towards Newry.
Next we just about beat it to Kilmonaghan Road as it continues it's journey South to Newry.
Shortly after at Canal Bank we see 8113 working the return trip back to Portadown from Newry.
And to finish off we head to Lambeg where we see 8113 passing light engine while returning back to York Road Depot.
