Chedoke Falls - Hamilton, Ontario
Chedoke Falls is 15.5 metre urban ribbon waterfall found atop the Niagara Escarpment in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The watercourse is the Chedoke Creek, an urban creek that runs through the west end of Hamilton and crosses the Bruce Trail and the Radial Trail.

A hike up the creek to the bottom of Chedoke Falls
Niagara Escarpment Lower Chedoke Falls Hamilton Canada
Chedoke Creek plunges 6 metres (20 ft) to form Lower Chedoke Falls, a curtain waterfall with an 11 metre (36 ft) crest. The creek erodes the underlying soft, red Queenston and grey Rochester shales, undercutting the hard Lockport dolostone caprock to form a steep, narrow block-filled gorge.

Hiking Chedoke Falls - Tour Behind the Waterfall - Hamilton Ontario 2018
April 2018 hike up the Chedoke Creek to explore behind the Chedoke waterfall. The Chedoke creek in Hamilton Ontario crosses the Bruce Trail & is mostly diverted underground in concrete drains. Although the water looks great for swimming, it is not recommended due to pollution but that did not deter some brave souls on this warm spring day. Hamilton has plenty of waterfalls to explore & this is one of my favourite.
