Hava Nagila (הבה נגילה) is a popular Jewish-Ukrainian Hebrew folk song meaning let's rejoice that had become a stable band performance in Jewish weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.
The soundtrack of Hava Nagila was used in a dance performance by Jewish Israeli and India Punjabi dancers at the Downtown Bhangra 2011 VIBC City of Bhangra Festival 2011. It is Hollywood and Bollywood in Vancouver. For the first time ever, the Jewish Community Centre and Surrey India Arts worked on creating a Punjabi-Israel fusion song and dance number.
This unique presentation that combined the two diverse cultures was performed at the Vancouver Art Gallery grounds on May 13, 2011. A truly one-of-a-kind Bollywood in Vancouver experience. Bring on Downtown Bhangra 2012!!

Tel Aviv cocktail bar makes world's top 50 list
(30 Dec 2017) LEAD IN
A cocktail bar in Tel Aviv has made it into The World's 50 Best Bars 2017.
The Imperial Craft bar takes its influence from New York, London and Paris and aims to match its drinks to customers' moods and desires.
STORY-LINE
Tel Aviv's Imperial Craft cocktail bar is in particularly good spirits - that's because it's made it into The World's 50 Best Bars 2017.
Tucked away in a three-star hotel, just metres away from the Tel Aviv beaches, the bar has been a game changer in the area.
It opened in 2013 and has a laid back, colonial-era feel. The owners of the bar brought international bartenders from London, Paris, New York and Athens to curate cocktails with originality.
What Imperial did is break through the barrier for the cocktail culture in Tel Aviv, says one of the four owners, Bar Shira,
Since it's opened the cocktail culture in Tel Aviv has changed. More bars and more restaurants serve cocktails and put a designated cocktail list.
According to the owner, the bar is virtually full every day for happy hour, something not very common in Tel Aviv.
Mackenzie who is visiting from Texas says it's: delicious and the vibe, the environment, is really incredible. It's a really intimate and fun environment.
And with its extensive cocktail list the bar aims to offer something different for every mood.
Maybe today you had a very bad day and you want something sweet to cheer you up but maybe on another day you just want something bitter and dry because you feel like it's winter and that's what you want to feel you know, says Shira.
The World's 50 Best Bars 2017 list was announced in October during a ceremony in London's Southwark Cathedral.
The names are selected by over 500 members of an Academy from 55 countries made up of industry experts.

7. SOUNDBITE (English) Dennis Muller, Tourist from Germany :
In Israel it's kind of a bubble. You enter Tel Aviv and you're in the gay dream. If you leave the place and go, for example, to Jerusalem or another place, it's like, ok. I think it's very hard to be open there, so it's like entering a bubble of peace for homosexuals and for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) people.
8. Various of men dancing at night club
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Guy Leitersdorf, Nightclub visitor:
It's about the vibe, about the diversity of the parties here; you could never find all these sort of parties anywhere - (inaudible) nights and pop nights. I think the plus here in Tel Aviv is that it's in the middle of the dangerous Middle East. That's the spice.

We are the capital of Mediterranean cool. So, that's results of very, very hard work, doing our job and we are trying to create a city that is a model for openness, pluralism, tolerance, art, culture, science, rational thinking, open to the world. A home and shelter for every minority.

18. SOUNDBITE (English) Leon Avigad, Owner of Brown hotel :
Tel Aviv is so gay that you don't need to be gay. I mean, you don't need to declare yourself as a gay institution in order to actually attract gays. You won't see many gay bars in Tel Aviv or many gay restaurants or many gay flags in the street. You won't see too many. Not because Tel Aviv is so conservative or the other way around. It's because Tel Aviv is so sophisticated and so advanced. You know, when you see some two guys walking hand in hand in the street it's not an issue any more. No one will look back at you. It's totally not an issue. So I think this is what differentiates us from everybody else.

20. SOUNDBITE (English) Aeyal Gross, Sexuality and Queer Theory expert:
The government does co-opt the progress that happened with LGBT rights in order to try and portray Israel as liberal and democratic and to deflect from other human rights violations. So I think there's a co-optation of the achievement that was won with hard progress with hard progress by the LGBT community for that purpose.

Fuck Israel...???? Mini-Vlog #22 - Planet Michell

One Day - (Matisyahu) (Koolulam) Singing For World Peace
#Israel
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Isaiah 9:6-7
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways please the LORD, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 5:19
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
This song really gave me goosebumps and I am so happy to see that the Hebrew, Arab and Gentiles are singing this wonderful song together..
This song is write on point and very timely because of the things that are happening now a days that might lead to war like the conflict between #America and #Iran, let us sing this together and pray for world peace together..Anger cannot conquer anger, only Love can conquer anger
Gracious loving God source of all life, peace and goodness, we cry out to You for help against the violence in this world. Lord God Make Your ways known upon the earth. We pray for peace and love for all nations amidst the trouble, so that hatred will stop. We pray for peace in our lives, lands, nations, families and in our hearts. Give us world peace and may peace prevail on earth. We ask for mercy in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
