This is the Cheng Ho Museum in Malacca. The presence of Cheng Ho (Zheng He) in Malacca pre dates the Portuguese and Dutch and was the beginning of trade in the Malacca Stratts. He was one of the ealrliest world navigators and travelled with ship number 400 in a fleet.

10 Dec, 2017 : I was delighted to find that one of the episodes (no. 9) of the “7 expeditions of Admiral Cheng Ho (aka Zheng He) 郑和下西洋” has a detailed description how the diplomatic relationship between China and Malaysia had started in 1403. The talk was presented by a professor of a military university in China. For the benefit of those Malaysians who don’t understand Mandarin, I added the English sub-title to the video clip. Hope you enjoy this part of our country’s history!

Casababa Gallery is a Peranakan Culture House where one can relive and experience the domestic settings and lifestyle of wealthy Peranakan families during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Besides the historical Peranakan settings on the upper floor of the gallery, you can take a walk down memory land of nostalgic Melaka in the good old days on our ground floor.
There are also many costume that we can try and we can take picture with that costume. WE CAN TRY ALL THAT COSTUME FOR FREE!!!!
Casababa Gallery is a new must-go attraction in Melaka which will give you one of a kind experience that will be filled with joy and lasting memory.

Admiral Cheng Ho a Muslim also known as Zheng He, San Bao three jewels and Ma Ho. The family name of Ma was used by Muslim in representation of the word Muhammad.
