Crickle Creek - Saskatoon (Saskatchewan adventure 2016 part 1)
First stop on our Saskatchewan adventure was to Crickle Creek. This place has a number of bouncy structures for kids (adults aren't allowed) to play on. The price was reasonable and the kids had loads of fun. For a bit extra, there's a portion of the place where there are bouncy structures that are purposely wet (think slip-and-slide meets bouncy castle).
If you are ever in Saskatoon in the summer with smaller children, I'd highly recommend it.

Top Ten Saskatchewanderings Of 2016
Having travelled well over 45,000 kilometres this year I’ve been incredibly fortunate to experience the best of Saskatchewan. The following are what I would consider the top ten experiences of my past year.
Saskatchewan: Aboriginal archaeology at Wanuskewin
Archaeology takes place at Wanuskewin just outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and the discoveries support the oral history of the aboriginal peoples that have gathered and hunted in the area for 6,000 years. Normal school
A normal school is a school created to train high school graduates to be teachers. Its purpose is to establish teaching standards or norms, hence its name. Most such schools are now called teachers' colleges.
In 1685, John Baptist de La Salle, founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, founded what is generally considered the first normal school, the École Normale, in Reims. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, normal schools in the United States and Canada trained primary school teachers, while in Europe normal schools educated primary, secondary and tertiary-level teachers.
