Sgubor is our 5 star two bedroom apartment it sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedroom both bedrooms have an en-suite one with a bath and the other with a shower.Sgubor apartment is at Ystumgwern Hall Farm, Dyffryn Ardudwy which is on the Cambrian coast Snowdonia
The sandy beaches are only a mile away as are the rugged Snowdonia mountains.
Kitchens are well equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezers (or compartments), dishwashers and microwaves.
Bedrooms are charmingly furnished and all the beds are made up ready for your arrival. There are continental quilts with extra blankets if required. Towels are also supplied (not beach towels)
The laundry room and drying room are shared and
the Games room is a strong favourite with adults and
children alike. Most properties are pet friendly.

Dinas is a small, quiet, family friendly campsite, children welcome, and ideal for walkers and those who wish to enjoy the countryside. As a bonus you can relax by your own camp fire. The campsite covers an area of approximately five acres with a total of 30 tent pitches mostly on level ground with a few nooks and crannies for you to choose from.
The campsite is split into a lower field by the stream and upper field surrounded by oak trees. Each pitch has its own wooden picnic table. Campers usually pitch around the perimeter of the upper field leaving a large open space in the middle for ball games, cricket, or throwing a frisbee. Parents can join in or watch their children enjoying the freedom, fresh air and open space. Kids also enjoy building dens in the woods, or playing on the swings. The country lanes are very quiet and good for cycling.
Enjoy sitting around the campfire, watching the flickering flames and listening to the crackling of the open fire whilst toasting some marshmallows.

Caerddaniel is a family run and maintained Holiday Home Park, situated on the Mid Wales coast. The park is just 2 miles north of Barmouth, with magnificent views over Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Peninsular. The Holiday Home Park adjoins miles of beautiful, sandy beach, ideal for families with children.
We have two Toilet and Shower Blocks, Launderette, Shop and Take-Away, Recreation Field, Camping Fields, Children's Play Area and two private access points to the beach.
We now have a Boat Compound fully equipped with a state of the art Security System, which allows only Owners of Mobile Homes to store their boats or Jetskis all year round. With this storage facility comes the option to launch directly from the site.
We are open 12 months of the year for Holiday Home Owners, but we are not a Residential Park, so you cannot live here. Our Holiday Home Owners can enjoy all year round access to Caerddaniel with full support of our staff throughout. All Holiday Homes have sea views and all Owners have access to miles of beautiful sandy beaches.
There is no policy where Owners have to remove or change their Holiday Homes after a period of time.
Caerddaniel is situated in the Snowdonia National Park, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is ideally located for visiting the many local attractions including Harlech, Criccieth and Caernarfon Castles, Portmeirion Italianate Village, Snowdon, Tal-y-Llyn, Fairbourne and Ffestiniog Light Railways offering scenic trips on the old steam trains. Visit the local lakes - from Cwm Bwchan and the Roman Steps to the famed Blue Lake at Fairbourne, slate caverns at Llanfair and Blaenau Ffestiniog and many more.
The surrounding area is ideal for hiking or walking. Why not try one of the many footpaths which offer excellent views of the countryside such as the 'Mawddach Trail' over Barmouth Bridge or the 'Panorama Mountain Walk', both with views over the Mawddach Estuary.
Mountain biking enthusiasts can try the Coed y Brenin Centre, which offers forestry and hill trails varying from easy family runs to the expert 'Bull Run'. Enjoy a round of golf on the wooded hillside course at Dolgellau or at the splendid Royal St. David's course at Harlech, or simply while away the hours fishing the local rivers, estuary and sea.

Christopher Gary Packham CBE (born 4 May 1961) is an English naturalist, nature photographer, television presenter and author, best known for his television work including the CBBC children's nature series The Really Wild Show from 1986 to 1995. He has also presented the BBC nature series Springwatch, including Autumnwatch and Winterwatch, since 2009.
Packham was born in Southampton, Hampshire. He was educated at Bitterne Park Secondary School,Taunton's Collegeand the University of Southampton, where he received Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.[6] After graduating, he cancelled his study towards a Doctorate of Philosophy to train as a wildlife cameraman.

In 2014, Packham presented a two-part BBC documentary in which he, Martha Kearney and Adam Hart examined in detail the behaviour of the honeybee, as well as a BBC series on animal cognition, called Inside the Animal Mind, which partly featured his own pet dogs.[17] In 2014, he presented a 10-part series The Wonder of Animals for the BBC. It included episodes on birds of prey, dolphins, crocodiles, great apes, elephants, foxes, ants, big cats, bears and penguins.
In 2016, Packham co-presented a two-part series for the BBC, Cats v. Dogs: Which Is Best?, along with Liz Bonnin. The programmes compared cat behaviour and relationships with humans, against those of dogs, in the format of a mock contest. It also explored some recent research on the subject.
In 2017, Packham co-presented Earth Live on Natgeo Wild with Jane Lynch and Phil Keogan. The programme was a live journey exploring some of the most spectacular wildlife on the planet.
Dinas Caravan Park and Campsite
Just up further into the hills than Nantcol Waterfalls campsite is the excellent Dinas Caravan Park and Campsite.
This is a great place for family camping. The kids can explore the woods, step over streams, and swing on the many rope swings.
There's lots of walks too, including walking up to Dinas Rock that towers over the campsite.

Bwthyn Conwy self catering cottage is situated on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, near the North Wales coast. Located 2 miles from Conwy with its medieval castle and 7 miles from Llandudno with its famous Victorian pier, beach, shops, ski slope, cable cars and much more. This detached holiday cottage is situated on a working farm that has sheep, cows, hens, ducks, dogs and a cat. Children are welcome to feed the animals, play in the fields and have a taste of farm life.
