Mistuike Park, Yokohama, Japan in autumn
Prefectural Mitsuike Park is located in Yokohama, 10 minutes by bus from JR Tsurumi station. It is made up of several large ponds bordered by many sakura trees. The park is nice and quiet, and there were a lot of facilities for children to play.
It is a lovely park for a relaxing picnic and walk.

TOKYO, unique JAPANESE AMUSEMENT PARK in the middle of a SHOPPING MALL
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a walk around an amusement park built in the middle of a shopping mall close to the center of Tokyo in beautiful Japan. Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Tokyo, is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan, and is both the capital and most populous city of Japan. The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world. It is the seat of the Emperor of Japan and the Japanese government.
Japan is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean with dense cities, imperial palaces, mountainous national parks and thousands of shrines and temples. Shinkansen bullet trains connect the main islands of Kyushu (with Okinawa's subtropical beaches), Honshu (home to Tokyo and Hiroshima’s atomic-bomb memorial) and Hokkaido (famous for skiing). Tokyo, the capital, is known for skyscrapers, shopping and pop culture.

Japan National Museum of Nature & Science With Kids - Dinosaur Bones ????????- Tokyo for Kids 2019
One of the best things to do in Tokyo with Kids is the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno park for a family fun learning experience for kids.
Please click the Like ???? & Subscribe buttons:
Huge Brontosaurus ????, T-Rex ????, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Prehistoric Monster-like Turtles & Elephants and much more! Our kiddos were so excited to see the dinosaur bones in real life. The exhibits are amazing and you get a feel for how humongous the dinosaurs were compared to us tiny humans. Lots of full sets of dinosaur bones on display as well as prehistoric human skeletons to compare the evolution of cavemen. Also see monstrous creatures that lived a million years ago to current animals and sea creatures. It was definitely a highlight of our kids trip and one they will remember!
Within the museum there is also a fun kids indoor playroom, however reservations are required more than a day in advance!
The Tokyo Nature & Science museum is right next to the Ueno Zoo. There are handful of other museums to explore too but this one is the best in Tokyo for kids. During April in the springtime, Ueno park is also a hot spot for cherry blossom viewings, but it is crazy crowded as you can see in the video.
The National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno park is in Ueno park near the Ueno Train station.
Our Ueno Museum & Park Itinerary for kids:
- 11am - National Museum of Nature and Science (Allow at least 2-3 hours) I don’t recommend combining this with the zoo or other museums if you are traveling with kids.
- 1pm - Walk through Ueno Park towards the Shinobazuno Pond. You will need to walk around the park if you have a stroller due to stairs. But it is not too far out of the way with a stroller.
- 2pm - On the weekends there are Japanese street food stands in the shrine of Shinobazuno Pond. Great place for a snack or lunch.
- 2:30pm - Rent a swan boat in Shinobazuno pond.
Thanks for watching and let us know if you have any questions or comments!

Exploring Japans Parks and Playgrounds
Here is the second week of our trip!
Its funny how I always think I'm filming so much when in reality its a few small clips here and there.
I definitely need to find a good balance of being in the moment and then being able to document that moment. Oh well, Im working on it!
I hope you like this style of vlog a bit more than my previous ones, a little more talking (Im still a bit shy to talk in public lol) and a little less music so you can hear the background sounds too...
Let me know what you think! Id love some feedback about my videos or some suggestions on what to do next time we go to Japan!

Japan With Kids Part 5 National Museum Of Science & Nature In Ueno Park Tokyo Vlog Kids Video
Our last full day at Day Ichi Hotel and we wake up to a chilly 35 degrees and rain. We head out to Shibuya on the train but are quickly shut down as the cold and rain are too much for the little ones. They weren't complaining but it was just that cold! We quickly change plans and head to Ueno Park-National Museum of Science & Nature. The museum turns out to be awesome and a must see as we give it five stars! When we get back to our hotel room we get a surprise as we see snow falling from the sky! That’s how cold it was on this day. After a quick rest we head back out to Legoland by way of taxi, because it was just too cold and rainy to attempt public transportation. That will be in our next installment of Japan with kids. So please subscribe so you dont miss any of our adventures in tokyo!

Kodomonokuni amusement park
Kodomonokuni Theme Park (こどもの国) is an amusement park near Tokyo, located in Yokohama, Japan. The park's name means Children's Country. As the name implies, it is more oriented towards young children than teenagers. It was founded in commemoration of the Royal Marriage of Prince Akihito and Princess Michiko in 1959 (mounted Emperor and Empress since 1988), and it was officially opened on May 5th, a national holiday of the Children's Day, in 1965.[1] The park is approximately 240 acres, and includes such things as a children's zoo, a boating lake, and a barbecue site.
Short Nature Trail/Park in Youkoudai, Japan~
Back in 2010, I visited Masato and we both stayed in his brother's apartment in Youkoudai (which is near Yokohama). We got out of the house and explored the nearby area and found this little trail which had a nice little view of the city. :3
Masato's a bit overprotective, isn't he? XD

Yokohama - A City and its Sea
For information on Japanese culture, customs, lifestyles, and much more, visit Web Japan (
Yokohama became a great port city as Japan’s gateway to the world. It’s a fine place to visit, with attractions ranging from lovely parks overlooking the bay and streets of old 19th century western style mansions to one of Asia’s largest Chinatowns. The city still plays a major role on the international stage, as host to conventions from around the globe. Recently, Yokohama has become an environmental leader too. A waterfront aquarium holds programs to teach city children about marine environmental issues, and, enjoying water activities, residents started movements to clean up the port’s main river.
