Gothenburg (Swedish: Göteborg is a city and municipality in the province Västergötland on the west-coast of Sweden. As of 2005, the population amounted to 487,000 in the actual city. Gothenburg is the largest university city in Scandinavia with some 60,000 students. The city is situated where the Göta Älv discharges into the Kattegat; the River divides the city in two halves: the upper part located on the island Hisingen. The inlet of Göta Älv is well suited for a harbour, and Gothenburg has expanded its port into becoming the largest among the Nordic countries. Gothenburg has a wide selection of cultural establishments worth seeing. A new opera house was inaugurated in 1994, the Gothenburg Opera. Museums include art (Gothenburg Museum of Art) and (Göteborgs Konsthall), design and handcrafts (the Röhss Museum), sea history, natural history, science, East India, and the Museum of World Culture [1] inaugurated in 2004. Kungsportsavenyn, commonly known as just Avenyn, The Avenue, is the main boulevard.
Avenyn passes the Stora teatern, a Neo-Renaissance theatre and opera building from 1859, and has a major concentration of pubs, discoteques and restaurants. The Göteborg Botanical Garden [6] is considered to be one of the most outstanding botanical gardens in Europe.

Just across Dag Hammarskjöldsleden is Gothenburg's largest park, Slottskogen, where you can visit Gothenburg's Natural History Museum (Naturhistoriska Museet), a tropical animal park (Tropikhuset), a children's zoo (Barnens Zoo), and a family animal park (Djurgårdarna). The park is also home to the city's oldest observatory, but if you prefer, it's a perfect place for sun-bathing, picnicking, or taking a relaxing stroll through Gothenburg's shady forests. The amusement park Liseberg located in the central part of the city, is the largest in Scandinavia, and the most popular attraction in Sweden by number of visitors per year ( 3 millions). Next to Liseberg is the science discovery centre Universeum. The central city and the harbour can be viewed from the The Gothenburg Lookout.

Universeum is located in the heart of Gothenburg and is Scandinavia's largest science centre. Throughout its seven floors you can experience a tropical rainforest, huge aquariums and lots of exciting experiments.

In what is probably the world’s most lifelike dinosaur exhibition you can experience and stand eye to eye with the largest prehistoric animals ever to exist. History:
When Gothenburg was founded in the 17th century, the area of Slottsskogen was a forest that belonged to (the old) Älvsborg Fortress. In the 1880s the city had grown to the vicinity of the forest, and merchant August Kobb took initiative to create the city park, which has the character of an English garden with lawns and trees.
Activities:
Slottsskogen has a wide range of activities: there is Slottsskogens Djurpark, a zoo with Swedish animals, a pond with seals and penguins, a Swedish heritage area with small cottages from different counties, a playground for football, softball, frisbee golf and so forth. Slottskogen is also the home of the Way Out West Festival, which occurs annually. In August 2014, a memorial to the last concert of the band Broder Daniel during Way Out West 2008 was raised in Slottsskogen.

Playground for kids Sweden - Lycksele Animal Park!

All playground videos:
Today we visited the animal park in Lycksele.

Overall we had a great time, the weather treated us well.
However, we were sad to see the animals in that environment so for that reason we can't really recommend this place.

The amusement park was a lot of fun for Liam but it was very rundown and we will not pay to go there again.

GOING TO LISEBERG WITH THE SMALL KIDS!

Spend a almost full day at Liseberg, with the only focus keeping the small kids happy! It didn't get as crowded as it usually gets.
Ended the evening with some epic drone shots of one of Göteborgs landmarks!
