Lake Chimikeppu in Tsubetsu Town is a place of primeval nature and a secluded spot for autumn leaves. Around the lake is a forest inhabited by various wild bird and mammals. You can explore the area through several hiking trails. You can also go up a hill to see a marvelous view of the lake from above. Near the lake, you can also find the 7-tiered Rokumei Falls.
