On our fourth day in Chongqing we went on a day trip to Wulong County Geology Park to visit the spectacular Three Natural Bridges and the otherworldly Longshui Gorge. This was our first time taking an organized tour, and part of this video will review this kind of tour, which has both it's ups and downs. Despite some grievances with the tour, we had a great time exploring this natural area for an afternoon. We ended the day - of course - with some traditional Chongqing hotpot, in a restaurant that showed many feature of Chongqing life.

Today i take you along to see the beautiful mountains in Chongqing where they filmed some of Transformers age of extinction and another famous Chinese movie. The breath taking views are worth the trek.

[ 中国南方喀斯特由中国南方的云南石林、贵州荔波、贵州施秉、重庆武隆、重庆金佛山、广西桂林、广西环江共同组成，其中云南石林为中国AAAAA级景区。云南石林、荔波、武隆于2007年6月27日在第三十一届世界遗产大会上被评选为世界自然遗产并获得全票通过[1]，施秉、金佛山、桂林、环江。于2014年6月24日在第三十八届世界遗产大会上增补入世界自然遗产名录。South China Karst is one of the world’s most spectacular examples of humid tropical to subtropical karst landscapes. It is a serial site spread over the provinces of Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan and Chongqing and covers 176,228 hectares. It contains the most significant types of karst landforms, including tower karst, pinnacle karst and cone karst formations, along with other spectacular characteristics such as natural bridges, gorges and large cave systems. The stone forests of Shilin are considered superlative natural phenomena and a world reference. The cone and tower karsts of Libo, also considered the world reference site for these types of karst, form a distinctive and beautiful landscape. Wulong Karst has been inscribed for its giant dolines (sinkholes), natural bridges and caves.
Three Natural Bridges, China
The Three Natural Bridges (simplified Chinese: 天生三桥; traditional Chinese: 天生三橋; pinyin: Tiānshēng Sān Qiáo) are a series of natural limestone bridges located in Xiannüshan Town (仙女山镇), Wulong County, Chongqing Municipality, China.
They lie within the Wulong Karst National Geology Park, itself a part of the South China Karst-Wulong Karst UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Chinese, the bridges are all named after dragons, namely Tianlong (天龙桥 – literally Sky Dragon) Qinglong (literally Azure Dragon) and Heilong (黑龙桥 – literally Black Dragon).
Three Natural Bridges include Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge, magnificent, magnificent, and is Asia's largest natural bridges group.

The Three Natural Bridges is a well-positioned scenic area located in Wulong County in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. The stone bridges have formed the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia, and it's also the spot where Autobots and Dinobots had the epic showdown in the fourth Transformers movie.

We spent the weekend in Wulong, which is about a 2 hour train ride outside of where we live in Chongqing.
While hiking down to see Tian Sheng San Qiao we ended up getting caught in a major rain storm - which really only made the whole place seem that much more amazing
My video hardly does this place justice - When I can finally afford a drone I will go back and re-film this! If any of you have the change to go you have to, and I can hook you up with the personal driver we used while there!

In Longzhou Township, Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province, there is a little-known Danxia landform called “Wave Valley”, which unreservedly displayed a world of wonder shaped by wind, water and time over millions of years.
The unique Danxia landform are various landscapes found in China that consist of a red bed characterized by steep cliffs.
The texture lines of sandstone are ever-changing, some like waves, some like flowing water, spirals, and their shapes are unique.
It is said that the landscape is comparable with the Wave, a sandstone rock formation located in Arizona, United States.
These formations show different colors at different times and various shapes from different angles, looking grand and magnificent.
The complex bedding surface of the rocks in the Valley of Waves consists of huge sand tunes that have started to deposit since one hundred and fifty million years ago in the Jurassic Period.
The sand tunes continued to be covered by red sands which underground water has been impregnating layer by layer. After a considerable period of time, the mineral substances in the water condensed sands into sandstones and form a laminated structure.
Walking on along the traces of red stones, you will feel a very strong sense of visual impact and cannot help but exclaim over the superlative craftsmanship of Mother Nature.

The fourth instalment of the Transformers franchise has just finished part of its shoot in China, and it features some beautiful natural scenery.
This cave, located in Wulong county of Chongqing Municipality, is a naturally formed karst landform. It was chosen as a location for the shoot of Transformers 4 for its breathtaking grandeur.
